I think you need to wait first for the task to be finished to be able to post like lets say if you got banned to unfollow you need to let this to be done and then you can post, for some reason if i follow and post same day i get less success compare to the next day maybe that is why there is endgament drop I think.
What about everyone else that doesn't have iphones. Majority of people have terrible phones

idk exactly what the new limits are, I had more success by unfollowimg 50 per hour so I stay with this for now, the best way is to play with the limits and see what work best for you.
Glad i ran across this thread, Ive been trying to figure this for the last couple days with no solution! Well it looks like instagram has rolled out new limits for unfollowing, and as said by others it looks like it lands in the 300-400 ball park. I am currently running 4 accounts, and i got hit with the temporary bans as follows.
1)After 330 unfollows
2)After 417 Unfollows
3)After 303 unfollows
4)Still going at 445+ (will update later)
If someone figures out a solution, please post! If there is a Skype group account please add me rsj604.

i came to this conclusion:
50 unfollows per hour
300 unfollows per 12 hours
600 unfollows per 24 hour hours
try unliking 50 followers per hour and stop at 300th mark (6 hours). then rest for 6 hours then repeat. that will remove 600 followers a day.
plese try these on your accounts.

Anyone else using crowdfire to do things semi-manually? For the past few days I haven't had any issues as long as I stay under 80/hr and ~450/day. Instagram has posted their limits of 60/hr and Foundr mag notes 400 actions a day. Can someone add me to the skype chat - htlong616

Can confirm, this is definitely happening to aged accounts.
The LIMIT seems to be 300 unfollows PER DAY (not per hour).
Over 300 per day, and you'll get a 24 hour temp ban.

Guys - set your FL to 300 unfollows per day and you should be fine.

It is certain that there is an issue. Some sort of changes has been made.. It is likely that a lot of has been hit by these changes and we are given temp. blocks.
I have read through this thread and can state, that it varies when people have been hitting the temp. block.
This could be due to many reasons. Either instagram has made serious changes. And these changes has suddently been release, and while I have made it to do 30 unfollows and hit the change, maybe you have managed to do 300 when the change in limitation was released. Therefor this can't really fingerpoint the issue really. The changes are new.
Personaly I believe this is due to their release of ads service. IG is cleaning up.
Lately both engagements and unfollowings has been hit. The first common thing I can spot for all of us hitting these issues is that we are using followliker and other widely used bots as instagres and so on.
Without being an expert here on how traffic is sent and how followliker is communicating with instagram... Obviously some sort of authentification is done.. It makes me think.. Has instagram sniffed how traffic is being sent from followliker and other bots? Could it be that strickt limitation are being put on profiles coming from these bots?

It is not just FL, it is happening when manually unfollowing / engaging with IG. The algorithm has been changed to crack down on SPAM, yes, due to the new ad service.
If this is really it.. Then instagram will release the limits. Otherwise how will normal users and people not botting know, how to stay within limits. So it's only a matter of time.
Of what I can read in this thread it is people who has been hit ban using a bot, and once the ban was lifted they tried unfollowing manually through instagram. But what if we are flagged? I mean right now it is all wild guesses. I guess the best thing is to protect accounts.. Keep low profile until it clears out.
