i know it would never happen. but too bad, because I love political arguments. Everyone posts like a ravenous dog when it comes to politics. It's fun, I personally love dispute, it's the only way you can really decide whats true and false, by hearing all sides of the argument.

There's alot of intellects here, too bad they can't express it though

Never talk politics on the bus, a bar or in the check out line at a grocery store. You will have 1 of 3 scenarios happen and trust me, I've been there sadly. My wife is very outspoken and it hurts me every time.
1. You will receive an abrasion on your face somewhere
2. A cop will be called
3. Your drink or groceries or backpack will be strewn everywhere and it will be inflicted.

You will get very angry regardless of how open minded and laid back you may be.

If they were to make a section for it or allow it back in lounge they would probably need to end up getting the "Ban Users From a Thread" plugin for vbulletin and whatever similair one for the new forum software they are using. And it will bloat up the Database with dozens to hundreds banned each for tens of thousands of threads.

I can understand the fact that there are people who like to debate, argue,
bicker, etc. about Politics & Religion, but we are a professional SEO and
Internet marketing forum and it is those two topics that our forum is
is based around. Politics and Religion tend to polarize (separate) people.
We would rather bring people together who have similar interests and
desires in the field of making money. Your own political interests and
religious beliefs can be voiced on any number of forums out there in
Cyberspace, but BHW is not one of them.

I am so glad BHW does not allow politics or religious discussions. You get bombarded with it throughout the day. All you need to do OP is join some FB groups and turn on some 24 hours news/entertainment.

Side note: You can't argue with people who already have very strong opinions. Life lessons is the only thing
that gets through to arm chair warriors I am afraid.

The sites that use ban users from thread plugin don't really get out of hand when it comes to politics. People learn real fast not to troll or flame members when they are getting banned from entering a thread. IMHO its much more effective than infractions or site wide ban for weeks to months at a time.

This is an IM forum, why do we need to have a section for a bunch of debaters to argue against one another on politics/religion? Go start your own forum on politics/religion, at least then you can just ban anyone that disagrees with you.
