SORTA agree. While it may seem specific to Windows 10 or some bug, this can happen when changing ANY OS, whether It's upgrading or downgrading.
Plus, there is that human error thing. Then there's hardware failures/glitches...
Ya never upgrade, always do a clean install.
Same with upgrading Windows 7 -> Windows 8. You'll eventually hit some random bug caused by the upgrade instead of a clean install.
There's a very good chance he screwed it up himself, I'd be willing to be he did. Either way, everyone back up your important stuff before the upgrade ... lol duh that's common sense.
He did say that the OS itself is pretty nice so far. I want to upgrade myself, just need to do some research to make sure all the applications I currently use will run fine. I believe there shouldn't be any issues but someone mentioned the .net framework thing so gotta check on that.
Would be a lot more time consuming, but a clean install is definitely a better choice. Agreed.
I perfectly agree with that. Even Vista (with its memory management problems) was better than XP.Windows has never had a bad version, every new version is better than the last one.
I never had any problem with the updates in Windows 8.Updating windows is like asking for troubles. Also windows updater is love. When you select more updates it always fail up updating and you can take sleep during reverting updates.
I dont agree. Windows ME sucks.I perfectly agree with that. Even Vista (with its memory management problems) was better than XP.
It sucks compared to XP. It's not worse than 98.I dont agree. Windows ME sucks.
A poll would have been nice though.
The thing I hate about WIndows 8 and 8.1 is the full-screen menu that they have. You may laugh at me, but sometimes the menu becomes too distracting and ( especially after a joint) I can't find what I am looking for. I have heard that Windows 10 is bringing back Classic Shell. I am definitely gonna upgrade if that is the case. No point saying Windows is not user-friendly. I just love it.
Please google "classic shell".
