A few weeks later I noticed traffic from Disqus so went and had a look and sure enough it started to let me post again. This time, I made each comment different and I also had my username as my website address.

Wait, are you saying that you took a break from discus after getting marked as spam, and weeks later your posts had suddenly gone through?


Also: my top commenter facebook can no longer make posts that appear to other people unfortunately.

Yeah....when I got the ban, all traffic from disqus stopped. When I noticed traffic was once again coming from Disqus, I checked all previous comments and they were all live then when the ban came again, they were all gone again.

I have never experienced that with facebook. I have 3 facebook accounts with top commentator status and never had a problem with them

Disuq bans no matter what. After about 10-20 post. Its best to use a VPN and have fresh accounts before you start for the day. AOL is amazing at getting fast emails.

I'm determined to figure out how to work disqus now, seeing some disqus accounts with ~200 comments posting links in every single one from the first one they make, although they have decent sized posts and vary the links a bit "www.website.com" "www.website.com/nichecategory" "www.website.com/nichebookreview" type deal.

A VPN is just useful to have anyway - regardless of what you're doing online.

There's no reason not to have one.

Closer to figuring out Disqus. My domain was flagged/banned from disqus, I think posts with it included were tagged as spam around 10-15 times and that was enough. Testing out with domains that I own from forays into blackhat:

Seems disqus disfavors redirects, or maybe .com domains (less likely). Of my 14 domains that I own only another .com was already banned. However, that one .com is also already set up to 301 redirect directly to a clickbank purchase page. Their algo is smart enough to go into linked sites and detect a 301 redirect, something FB's algo does as well.

So I have to get new domains just for disqus commenting, and I'll personally want them to be legit sites so that I can rank in search engines months down the line.

Barely did any commenting today due to trying to figure this nonsense out, but I'm glad I'm on the right track. Also discovered one mofo that has legit 10000 comments from January 2015 with him spamming his review site, all he does is change how many punctuations he ends his post with.

It'd be nice if we could have something private setup so that people that have actually made money with this method could brainstorm and discuss strategies, blockages, etc. Original, creative people who aren't going to blindly ripoff each other's sites and comments, etc.

Yea with them I just constantly change where I put my periods. Thats not me though lol I dont have 10000+ comments. Whoever that person is making bank hard. Im more interested in automating this....maybe like Scrapebox or Xrumer?

This method just keeps surprising. A link I left about 3 hours ago that I didn't even think was that relevant gave me 43 unique clicks and counting.

What would I have to gain by signing up with an identical name, pretending to be a noob, asking constant questions, then answering them with my main account? I would be as well just calling a meeting with myself in my office. Perhaps setting up 2 chairs and moving between them as I ask and answer questions.

It's quite logical that if someone signs up with a very similar name to someone else on a forum, especially an essentially identical one, that the original person will become aware of it and interact.

He just happened to become active on a thread that I monitor, but someone did tell me of his existence. I chose to reply to him personally for the exact reason that he *has* actually chosen the same name as me. It's basic psychology.

There's really no need to get so defensive, I didn't think you were the same person anyway. One guy is asking questions and another guy is making good posts. I even thanked you for that one particular post a page back.

I finally took action and set up my site, wrote review about the product and now it's the last step - promoting. I don't know if I'm dumb or something, but I just can't find where to post, I posted like 3 comments in the last hour. You may say bla bla bla another lazy noob, but here is the thing I've chosen niche in clickbank which has just 1 page of products. Am I doing it wrong? Kick me in the a ss...

Ahh, the facebook ghost finally strikes me. I figured it out because traffic was down according to analytics, and I've been doing the same amount of commenting. So I did some testing and figured it out.
