Guide to Faceparty Marketing
First let me start off by saying that I'm not an expert in marketing, I'm a programmer.
The methodology I've developed here is not intended to make a bad marketer good, but hopefully it can make a good marketer better. In my experience there is no "trick" to marketing. There's no "quick fix" to instant gratification. So toss that idea right out the window.
Alright let's get into it. Start by navigating to faceparty.com and clicking "join the party" as seen below.
As the faceparty's ubiquitous "sign-up" form loads, choose a username that isn't "suckyouforfree69" or "hugeknockers4u" or "easyinbed1986"
We all know what spam looks like. So DON'T make spammy names! Easy! Here's a few decent usernames right off the top of my head:
volleyballgirl45
simpsonsfan19
govegan33
See! No spam! Just ambiguous hobbies coupled with indescriminate numbers to make sure the ID is unique. Click "Check Availability" as seen below.
As you can see I've chosen "blueangel54" for my username. It's not taken so we can proceed.
No direction is needed for the password, just make it something you can remember. You may choose to make each password for each bot account unique to prevent being filtered by admins later after viewing multiple accounts with the same password.
Enter an email address that corresponds with the username, however email verification is not needed by faceparty so an actual email address is not required.
Personal Information is VERY important.
As you can see I've chosen the UK for my country. Faceparty is a UK site so it should go without saying that our key demographic IS the UK, and we'll want simulate a potential mate in the same region. I've chosen FEMALE as my gender because my target demographic is "Online Single Straight Males." I'll be setting my FaceParty Bot search parameters accordingly.
Set your birthday between 1984 and 1989. In my experience a female profile between the ages of 18 and 24 work the best. Don't think of our targets as perverts but all men are a bit subjectable to a young woman's influence (and very much so vise-versa).
And all of you who thought it'd be a good idea to put "Open-Minded" or "Bisexual" for your bot, shame on you! lol Not because I don't support homosexual rights, because I do, but we're not out to have fun here, it's business. Most men enjoy the thought of an "Open-Minded" girl, but statistically a "Straight" profile works best.
Enter the CAPTCHA and keep on truckin'. On the next page, skip importing friends by clicking Invite Later.
Now we're at the meat and potatoes. First lets get an image of an attractive young woman, but not a model or a pr0n star. This should go without saying but I can't count how many girls in bathing suits want to add me on myspace! I'm Mr. Popular today!
Wwwaiitt... no.. it was a bot! HOW COULD I HAVE KNOWN!!?? .... You get the point.
Don't make spammy profiles.
Open up a new tab in your web browser and head to your favorite networking site. Borrow a picture of a young girl who is attractive, yet not obviously a fake profile.
Examples:
Think pretty, not hot. Think beautiful, not sexy. Must I repeat: Do not make spammy profiles. We all know what it looks like.
Upload it after filling out the Title and Description. Just put "this is me" or something simple. Then find another random picture. Something funny someone would upload.
Animated gif, blingees, whatever. Just another picture besides just the main one you've just chosen. Bots don't bother uploading pictures of objects, they just upload a hot girl and leave it. DON'T DO THAT! lol.
Now that you've got the girl, the hobby picture, it's time to fill out the profile's info. I won't subject you to a long window explanation of what works and what doesn't, I'll simply lead by example. Here's what I put:

Profile Tagline: what's love got to do with it?
Location: In my room
Star Sign: Pisces (Any will work)
Sexuality: Straight
Profession: Student
Marital Status: Single
Perfect Partner: Someone who listens
My Interests: volleyball, skating, some video games
Makes Me Happy: BLANK (leave some of them open)
Makes Me Sad: BLANK
Cigarettes: I smoke occasionally
Alcohol: I drink occasionally
Drugs: I don't use drugs
Bad Habits: biting my nails
In my own words...: vote Obama!
Looking for...: someone who likes to have fun
Vitals (Ethnic Origin, Hair, Eyes, Body Type: just match the picture you chose earlier)
My Favourites... (ambiguous things, yet realistic)
Here's the thing:
As you can see it's just ambiguous data that any young woman could enter, yet it doesn't appear to have been pulled from a keyword list by a bot. Anyone reading can empathize with the mentality of a young female. We all have girlfriends, wives, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, female cousins, and female friends. Put yourself in their shoes. Just fill out your profiles according to the same formula.
Fill it out, save it. Don't make spammy profiles. We seem them every day, so we know what they look like. Easy.
All that's really left to do is pick out a nice Designer Theme. Why? Because bots usually don't take the time to do that kind of stuff. Any one of them will do. Just goto Edit Profile and scroll down, you'll find it. Another nice thing to do is goto your My Settings (located on the top gray navigation bar) and then to Privacy Settings, and set "Accept Chat Requests from:" to "NOBODY" so the bot isn't interrupted by the javascript alert while it's sending.
You're Done!!
Alright now you've got yourself a bot that will actually last more than 25 minutes on the network! Yeah!
Quick tips
Read your mail, real users do this! Respond too! Real users do that as well!! :O Also add friends, send real comments, rate users. You know... Stuff actual people would do that bots would bother to do. Respond to the people who write you. They are the most gullible. That's cash that's writing you. Write it back
Messages
This is very important. Not much can be said, it's really quite a guessing game
what will work on what type of people when. Just keep trying and when you get a nice hit on a message, ride it til it's dead. As I said, there's no "trick" or "quick fix" it's simply trial and error. Just don't send messages like "hey babe wanna shag? check out all the barely legal friends I have on my profile! doesn't that sound great? just click this gigantic link I put in this comment and..."
See how stupid it looks now? Don't send shit like that.
Instead how about: "wasup babe u on ur lookin good and i want to get to know you, but for some reason faceparty won't let me recieve messages, but i can talk to you here hotenough.co.uk/mypic.php?rateuser=blueangel54 if you don't have an account it's free, can u rate my profile?"
It's not overly complimentary and it's completely platonic contact. Bots usually cut right to the "see my huge tits instantly! Click now!" Do not do that.
Masking Your Affiliate Link
Let's mask our aff link, it's like 300 characters and looks shitty. No one will click it. I have a redirect meta tag <META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="0; URL=YOUR AFF LINK"> that when used in a php file uploaded to my server and added-on to a domain I own (hotenough.co.uk), allows you to query ANYTHING to the PHP file and it will still redirect to your aff link. That's why you can use mypic.php?anything=anything, the query is null so the page does nothing but redirect like it's supposed to. Php instead of html so you can query, and put the meta tag in the Head of the document. I'm marketing for dating sites, so my domain "hotenough.co.uk" was very suitable to convince someone that they were clicking onto someone's profile and not my aff link. The user will think he can sign up for free and talk to the young lady.
Most people WILL NOT click the link. Most people that actually click the link WILL NOT sign up. The few people who sign up will earn you cash, just check our FP Bot thread in the Buy Sell or Trade subforum.
In summation...
Don't expect instant results, don't make spammy profiles, and dont' get pissed when you have to do this all over again tomorrow because no bot lasts forever.
The longest run I had was 6 weeks, on ONE account. w00t
