How viagra spammer ranked this website?

I have checked google results for 'buy cheap viagra" keyword and found on 5th place this site: http://wpyr.com/buy-cheap-viagra/
it has no content, only one image (screenshot of real viagra shop), no backlinks according to ahrefs and it is sitting on 5 spot for very hard competition keyword, what do you think guys?

Likely the reason the link doesn't work from direct linking is because he's blocked all non-Google referrals

That niche and many like it have always been dominated by pretty clever BH SEOs or spammers.. Competing in them is like a battle field.

Thats big boy territory, wouldn't be surprised if he has 1k+ PBN links that you cant see.

If it is low competiton keywords, they are needn't any backlinks. If they are high or middle competiton keywords they only spam to comments fields. No pbns is used for it. Only massive spam links. Also if the website is hacked, they can change robots.txt and other files of the website and you couldn't see any backlinks, coz they are disallow it

It happened to one of my websites before. They hacked my server and added 100's of pages about viagra. I getting traffic from keywords containing viagra to those pages.

I am talking about hacked websites. There is no need to buy backlinks from pbn for such kind of hacked sites. spammy comment links is enough.

Dont you know them domains that get auctioned off for hundreds of dollars? PA/DA 50++ TF like 40+ with hundred or thousands of links?

Im pretty sure its the big boys buying them and im pretty sure they have hundreds of them that no one can see.

Yeh, there was no pbn involved. Its a legit site, just a hacked article leeching of the domain. The rest of the site is still normal.

hacked sites can be in top 10 without any backlink If hacked website has godd Pr, PA,DA etc there is need not any backlink. But of coz we must see which kind of keywords it are promoting.
The main reason of using backlinks for that kind of websites is indexation, or you think that spammy links will help for ranking in this industry?

First hacked sites was on dot edu. Did u forgоt?

Without looking, they're hacked joomlas, with high TF blast from obvious RU network + hidden pbn. Once owner fixes, they recycle, look page 2 or 3. They choose generic domains like abbreviations to look more clickable. Only works in that niche or in/out fast niches because you'll go to jail lol.

To the guy names rxaff, clearly you aren't watching daily domain drops in the $500+ bidding range if you think the RU RX guys don't use pbns.

They dox, hack and report each other to G but the ROI is quite clear
