I think he means buy your domain in .info .space .co.uk etc, then redirect those sites to your .com which has the reviews. This will cut down on the disqus algo being able to detect duplicate links and flag your account as spam.

Yup. And if they ignore your request for a a review copy, you say "if you don't reply, I'll just buy it and get a refund" which they will just hate to happen, as sites like cbgraph etc track refunds and it affects average sales.

I was doubly excited tonight, I had one of the CB review copies I requested respond and ask me for my site and I sent them the link. They sent me my 1st Review copy. So finally got one plus he must of liked my site

Yes, CB refunds are reliable.

I honestly can't believe you are having trouble actually getting a review copy. I always look at the long-term approach.

If some-one asks me for a review copy, they get one, straight away, no questions asked, because I know if they are new to IM and make their first $ online selling my product, I have a loyal affiliate for life. For instance - I bet that guy who sent you your first review copy gets a brilliant write-up, regardless of how good (or crap) their product actually is!

That far outweighs the occasional person who wants it for themselves for free or does naff all with it in my opinion.

After reading his post again, I think you're right.

Which means, I can take credit for the idea to redirect the cheap domains to a landing page/MNS with reviews etc and bypass the disqus algo.

I am going to send half the traffic to a landing page and keep the other half going directly to the hoplink. I'll update with the results. In the past 3 months, I wanted to get the links out there knowing I could play with them later. Now it's time to experiment with redirecting those same links to a squeeze page as you've recommended.

I can tell you right now exactly how that is going to go.

These are the results of one of my affiliates from the end of January up to the 5th of March (6 weeks) while direct-linking to the sales page, before she created a landing page with a review.


These are the results after the 5th of March (1 week), when she created a website with a review inbetween:


You can see the massive improvement in conversion rates. This is why people need to follow the method Meathead outlined in the OP and not try to cut corners - reviews work, Meatheads' method works.

Everything you need to make money online is within this thread. Just follow the method.

Also, bear in mind that is my 20% cut as a vendor, she is getting almost 4x commission compared to what I get from her sales.

But how many niches are there with 20 product.

Loads. I could name plenty off the top of my head.

Dating, weight loss, fitness, self-help, cooking, mental health, MMO, sports betting, new age nonsense - the list is huge.

Also, your 20 reviews do not have to be on one site. I have a couple of websites I built concentrating on just one product, that have 5-10 pages of good info (with a couple of banners on each page) and a review of a single product on the last page - these MNS sites I built are very profitable, as you can really target low comp keywords and rank very quickly just by the backlinks you make in comments/blogs etc - they end up making 2-5 sales each week passively.

You could quite easily pick 20 products and build 20 1-page review sites that would do well with this method, as wearablyth has proved it worked for him with one product - you just scale it up.

This method is not really for MNS site, but 1 page review style websites. You can expand the site later to a MNS, but that's not the main thing here.. and the point of this method is not to get into the TOP - 10, but to be able to get traffic without having to get into the TOP -10.

Also, you should not be checking for backlinks, but rather, checking for traffic and visitors to your website. Did the comments you put bring traffic to your website? If it does, then it means its working.

I've been hanging around this thread since mid January and bugging a certain person with numerous questions via skype so figured I would chime in with whats happening.

For reasons I won't disclose, I never actually got started with this method until last week, Wednesday to be exact. When I say I, I should actually say my wife.

Now the plan was to make a website as recommended but I have loads on at the minute and my wife isn't exactly tech savvy so she whipped up a 1 page blogger blog and started posting comments on various sites. (no forums)

Out of those 631 visits, 591 were uniques.

This does work, as I have been told hundreds of times on here.

Just thought I would update you guys with how my wife is getting on.

So as I already said, my wife set up a 1 page blogger blog last Wednesday promoting 1 product and started posting links the way outlined by Meathead and Freddy.

She didn't really get going until thursday though as she's never done anything online before so was a bit slow with the posting.

Made her first sale on sunday, ended up been 3 that day and since then she has saw at least 1 sale everyday. Traffic figures and hops seem to vary depending upon where you get your comments approved. For instance, she got a link approved on a big american newspapers own blog which brought in a lot of visitors and she made 2 sales that day. Only 2 days ago the blog only got 120 or so hits, only 31 hops but she still got 1 sale.

So last weeks stats all together were 452 hops an 10 sales which means the little shitty 1 page blogger blog is converting at roughly every 45 hops resulting in $248+......not bad if you ask me......think I need to get a proper site up with more pages and reviews though.

3) It sometimes takes 6 months for backlinks to get indexed. It is traffic you should concentrate on.

I agree with all you said, apart from mns not being for this method.

I have a couple of 5-10 page mns sites I started with this method and it works like a charm if you word the mns right and write interesting, engaging articles with a review of the product on your last page.

This seems like a good starting point for me. I'm very excited to start. I read before that we should read through the post carefully before asking any questions. I have a question concerning choosing a niche. You said in this article to choose a niche that is popular and is in high demand. Before I came here I read up a lot on keyword research. I have heard from a lot of sources that the the higher in popularity or demand of a niche or product the higher the competition. Isn't high competition something we should avoid as internet marketers? Doesn't it make sense to choose a product with high search volumes and low competition?
