[Tutorial] LeapViral 30%+ ROI - Walkthrough

UPDATE:The chat issues with LeapViral have been resolved and my account manager has notified me that everyone's December earnings have been finalized regardless of whether or not they made $500 yet in January.

Here are my proofs.

1) Facebook ad spending for the lifetime of my campaign (December 26 to January 4).

2) Total earnings from my LeapViral account ($666.94 is my December earnings, and $553.99 is my earnings so far in January):

3) PayPal payment from LeapViral just a few minutes ago for $671.20 (my $666.94 December earnings plus some bonus):

Total earnings so far are ~$1220, and total spend so far is $363.92. ROI is really nice on this one if you know what you are doing. When I first started it I followed OP's instructions exactly and I lost about $100 but I have quite a bit of experience tweaking facebook ads since I started doing it for my apps several months ago and I was able to turn my performance around and make this profitable. I don't think OP's instructions are wrong, they might just not work for everybody. You can see from the FB picture above my cpc is on average $0.02 since December 26, but when I first started it was about $0.07 cpc and you will not make any money that way. Since my optimizations my cpc has gone down now to $0.01. If you can't make your cpc go below $0.05, this will definitely not be profitable for you.

Sidenote: quite a few people have PM'd me asking me for the secret to getting really low cpc on FB. Please stop PMing me for this, we're not here to spoonfeed each other. I may consider offering paid services to optimize other people's campaigns, but I'm hesitant because the naysayers will come out and say my entire post is fake and I'm just promoting services...

Besides that, I don't know how quickly this could become saturated. I believe only a few people will be able to actually make money off of this

Anyway, thanks OP for your wonderful tutorial, it works great :)

I understand we shouldn't spoonfeed each other here. Having said that, could you shed a little light on which areas of the ad did you tweak? Like the ad image, headline, countries targeted, etc?

When you post the aff link on your page. It automatic show this picture. How do you change or replace it?

Thank you

Just got my ads approved. It active and running now. I set my budget to $20/day to see what happen.

This is my first time doing something like this :) wish me luck

I too can confirm they are legit :)

I had my doubts, but I've just been paid.

Thanks a lot to the OP for sharing the method.

Seen around 30+% ROI as OP said, going to try to optimize it to 100% ROI :)

I have been here since 2010, have no shit lists to my name, only positive itraders.... Trust me... its legit.

Nice.

How much was your cost per engagement?

It was up and down, but over all... I'd say $0.03.

I got banned from FB yesterday - I was only running ads for LV.... not sure exactly why... maybe its because my image was a bit naughty... or maybe LV is cloaking its traffic and redirecting them to CPA offers. Because CPA offers paying $40 per lead would certainly make sense - them only using adsense to monetize does not add up to me.

I dunno.... still waiting to see what FB say.

Also... I've had 2 people comment saying "What are the signs?" ... and one that said she could only see a skin care product.

You said you get banned. Is that just the ads account or the whole Facebook account?

Thank you

Hmm that's interesting indeed. My ads account is still fine. When I first started this whole thing, I opened a new FB account and started putting ads right away at $100. This quickly caused my account to get flagged and eventually banned for ads. As soon as the account got flagged, I just setup the entire campaign on my regular facebook account and I've been OK since then. Another thing I noticed the last couple of days is that LeapViral's eCPM has changed for me from $77-$80 on December 29-January 1, to $39-$41 since January 3 (even today it is at $40 currently). This will literally halve the profits, but if I can keep my cost per engagement at $0.01 I should still be able to make 250-350% ROI, but those are big IFs. If the LV eCPM decreases any further or if my FB cost per engagement increases to even $0.03 then this will no longer be profitable.

Also, just FYI, I tried two other articles from LV and their eCPM is not nearly as good. One of them was $8 and the other $16 and the minimum FB cost per engagement I was able to achieve for those articles is $0.04. This automatically makes those articles not profitable.

My ads was approved and active more than 2 hours ago. But there is no traffic at all. How long they take to show your ads?

Same thing for me. Right after summit payment information my 2nd ads account is disable :(

I created ad and after sometime my account got flagged and asked to provide identity and i submitted id proof. Waiting for their response.

That's exactly what I did when my account got flagged (I sent them a picture of my driver's license), and then 10 days later I got an email and they STILL permanently banned my account. This is what the email said:

"It looks like your payments account was disabled because of suspected fraudulent activity. As a security precaution, we won't be able to re-enable it. This decision is final."

You probably need to use an account that is at least a few months old and has had normal FB activity on it, and you probably shouldn't start at $100 as that is a dead giveaway for flagging your account.

But, i used my personal account, it is almost 4 year's old. I tested with only $20. Why the hell, they need 10 days to verify an account?

No idea. But good luck, I have heard that once your ad account gets banned it is almost always permanent.

I have 2 question regarding this Facebook thing since I'm really new (brand new) at this :)

- With the setup like the OP did. When people click on the ads, where FB taking them to? To the Fans page or direct to the aff link?
- If they taking them direct to the Aff link, then it will the same like you run an ads for people come to your website?

Thank you

I have noticed this too since January 3rd - the eCPM dropped considerably - $32-$46 from $94-$120.

If it's like that, it makes more sense. I suspected they might occassionally drop some health related CPA offers.

$50+ eCPMs aren't unattainable, but they're relativelly rare. I remember having ~$30 CPM on Adsense years ago. That was a blast, but it didn't last long - my accoutn was banned and it's like I never even made that money.

I personally have no problem with promoting shit, been there done that. But, at least let me know what it is that I'm REALLY promoting, and risking.

I know some people really care about their FB ads accounts. Seems like these people should stay away from it.

I have noticed this too since January 3rd - the eCPM dropped considerably - $32-$46 from $94-$120.

I wonder if this is something caused by our traffic sources, or from LV's end. Maybe LV's advertisers (if they're monetizing through ads) increased their CPM over the holidays, and this is why we were getting $80-$120 eCPM over those days? My traffic source hasn't changed, so I doubt the quality of my traffic suddenly decreased.

I dunno, although this approach would explain how their CPM is so high, it seems pretty risky on their part. Their stats are updated in real time (~5 min delay). What CPA network offers an API that would allow LV to proportionally calculate your own earnings based on how many offers your traffic sources complete? Otherwise LV would just be updating the earnings balance in our account blindly without knowing how well your traffic is completing CPA offers.
