What are the Best Current SEO Tools?

Hey fellow BHW members.

I have been out of the seo "game" for several years and am looking to make a comeback, which is why I need your help.

I am aware that content is and always will be king, but every king needs a queen hence why im mainly looking for backlink/ranking tools in this thread.

I am after the best tools you can use to rank websites and internal pages.

A few years ago I was using Scrapebox, Article Marketing Robot, Social Bookmarking Demon, Xrumer and various .edu and .gov link packets for ranking my sites.

What is the new bread of tools required to beat the Panda/Penguin algorithm changes implemented by Google.

Would love to hear your thoughts, Thanks in advance.

Consider GSA for tiered link building.

GSA Search Engine Ranker, Scrapebox is still relevant (depending on how you use it). PBN's & Web 2.0's to get link juice to your money site. SeNuke XCR (expensive, but effective. I still prefer GSA though). A good indexing service and captcha software/service.

I wouldn't really call Scrapebox a tool for building links, but it's great for research. GSA SER seems to be the most complete tool ATM, but I wouldn't use it for my Tier 1.

For me, Scrapebox is still the top tool in my tool box. The game has changed a bit, but it is still the best tool in my opinion. There are so many uses for it if you think outside of the box (no pun intended). It helps me automate tasks all the time and helps me streamline a lot of my tasks.
