I just bought the budget level Windows VPS. So far the billing went through, and it's taking an hour to start up my Windows VPS. Supports been good; they're letting me know every step of the way. I'll update this comment as I use the product.

Used the in the past. Rather good hosting when you take the price in mind. Their server was once hacked via some hackers but that fixed itself after one day.
Been using HostWinds VPS for about 2 weeks now. Increased my site load speeds and in turn, my bounce rate dropped on most sites. I'm quite happy with the speed, but more impressed with the customer service and support. They answer any questions and fix any issues as soon as possible. No matter what time of day it is they usually respond to my tickets within the hour. It's quite an amazing service! Highly recommend.

VPS windows is not secured because there is some vulnerable services and roles like DNS, we must always install DNS applications also regarding DDOS attack is very crrent in Windows ,
as a former client os several VPS company all windows VPS used is without license so it's also very dangerous because i can't always install updates

Just to clarify all of our Windows VPS's are fully licensed directly from Microsoft, and you are free to call and verify the authenticity of your VPS's Windows license

you can search on cheap rate. some site offer 1 year free trial. But that is Linux, not sure if they have windows nowadays, but i think noone is willing to give free windows vps since windows is not free

I've been their client since November 2013 and everything was great. Until today when they refused to refund the service I won't be needing anymore. I was charged today (on their 2nd tier VPS, been using it for around 3 months now), but sure it was my fault because I didn't cancel the service. But I basically paid for an entire month that I won't be using anymore. They don't want to give me a refund.
I'll just file for a paypal dispute in hopes of getting my $21 back.
