I don't think you're looking for a legit way to do it. There is no other known way to do it, follow Roshaen's tips.

I agree with you. This is the only way to get your Facebook page verified. As far I know Facebook only allowed verified page to celebrities. Why you want to verify your Facebook page?

FB is not verifying only celebrities. I am just looking at a page with 21k likes in "Entertainment Website" category that is verified.

And why is it good to have a verified page? It seems that if you comment as a "verified page" somewhere, your comment gets on the top without any likes!

I agree facebook is verifying many BS page but sooner or later there verification will be removed as facebook do check such stuff's from time to time.
But people have figured out way's to hide it and bypass it.
I know few people selling verification from $1200 to 2k but since i haven't tried i can't guarantee.

Just a quick update, I am now verified, I did it the normal way and sent my passport and driving license, its took 9 week for Facebook to do this but its done it this time.

I sent mine for verification with 6k likes and got verified, its not about likes or being famous, its about being legit and have the correct source of information for facebook to believe you are who you say you are.

i have an artist name in my id card, also a legit website and an art page on facebook like for example: facebook.com/ingasemisows.ghostworldi tried the contact form but they told me after 24h that i dont met their criteria....i will try it with another method:i will publish an book with poetry on shops like amazon and hope i will get a writer profile there.other writer will give me their poems and so everybody could make some marketing. the ebook should be free i will create fanarts for each text and post them to all onlinegalleries, tag them with authors name and title of book.... so i hope i will get high google ranking with my website. after all i will try it again to contact facebook support!its the only legit way i could try as an artist

I like how being famous or a celebrity means you're no longer considered a 'member of the public'. FB needs to get up to speed and make things clearer for everyone. I can see the benefit of verifying an account of someone who is famous as it stops other people from making fake accounts of the famous person and building up a following on that account.

On a side note: Making a FAN account of someone who is famous still works pretty well if you want to build up a good following on FB and then monetize the traffic or 'quietly' flip it
