Try to focus on targeting long tail KW's. I am getting much better ROI by targeting 1000's of long tails instead of targeting a few dozen keywords. Although I need a lot more articles, but I am easily breaking 2k visitors/day mark within 2 weeks of launching a site.

Take a look at the traffic stats of a site I started on 1st August:

I fix the site and finally started to add content to the site again.

Little update:

I finally got my DA PA rankings and its nothing special but for me are, especially when they where at 0.

My root domain PA = 21, DA = 20

One of my best ranking keyword has drooped ranking from 15 place to 40+. I hope its not permanent, I will give it a week then see what I can do to fix it.

Now I'm busy with finding a writer, this is my priority right now. I am 10 days or more without a fresh article on my site.

I think in one of the other 'Authority site' thread i read that If a kw ranking drops or if a LTK is not ranking as you expected, then you should do throw some SEO for it. Perhaps you could try that for the dropped KW. good luck !

I have done SEO on it. I have about 15 hi pr blog post pointing to that page for that kw, I was waiting to go to top 10 and suddenly it dropped to 40+

I have done SEO on it. I have about 15 hi pr blog post pointing to that page for that kw, I was waiting to go to top 10 and suddenly it dropped to 40+

Update:

I think I find out the reason why my best ranking kw is dropping in ranking, I guess its from the last blog guest I have purchased.
I have paid for 10 blog post 5 to go to my best ranking kw and other 5 to my other kw that was ranking about 60-80 place with no backlinks.
So After the blog posts where completed the ranking dropped for the both KW.

I don't know what to do about it, I don't want to mention the seller here of the blog posts and I don't want to write him a bad review, I will leave it and see what will happen.

OK now with the positive update

I have also paid for 10 blog posts from a new seller with 50% off for a kw that was ranking around 100 place. Yesterday I have received a mail that the blog posts are done but with no report as stated before.
The same day the KW improved in rankings and moved to the 60 place and now is moved to the 40.
I have hopes for this KW and the US monthly searches is 8.8K which is sweet.

Concerning your keyword that dropped in rank....i suggest you leave it to sit around for sometime. It could be a minor dance. Hopefully ranking will return.

Update:

The KW with 8800 US monthly have moved from 40 to 27 place. This is awesome, some positive news after all that shit with the other kw that went from 15 place to 40+.

I have other obligations this week and don't have the enough time to dedicate to this ( at least not enough as I would like ), but I will have less obligations the next week and I am planing to kill it!

This is my short update, but I will make long one in the end of the month, like a full report.

I was busy this passed few weeks, I even didn't have the time to workout, and believe me I will miss everything but not to workout.

I am still allowing time to pass from my last blog posts that I have ordered and destroyed my KW rating. The ranking sucks its is still sitting on 45-60 place and before was firmly on the 15 place.

I don't know what to do the guest post sucks, the content doesn't seem like someone write it, more like made from WordAi. I don't know should I write my review on his BST or should I contact him, actually he is known here to most of the regulars and old member from 2008/9.

I am turning a new page for this site, I will go with a slightly different approach.

What will I change with my current "game plan"

- Paid for content
- Paid for link building
- Paid for social signals
- Didn't do nothing serious with fb fan page, twitter and I don't have Instagram.

With what will I change it:

- Write my own content ( I will target KW that are easy to target and with low volume from 250-3k US monthly hits, more then 4k I will pay for for a good article not that $5 shit )
- Build T1 links my self ( I am planing to pay for T2 and T3 until I have the $$ to buy GSA + GSA CB )
- I will still continue to pay for social signals for now, but I am searching for cheap alternatives and I know I will find it!
- I will work on the site social profiles very seriously to gain traffic( I will start with facebook and twitter first)


Its not a bulletproof plan as there's no such thing, but its fine for now.

My Biggest problem will be my writing. As you all have noticed by now, English is not my first language but I'll manage. Planing to write at least 3 articles weekly just for now, ideally I would like to write 7+ articles weekly.
I am also planing to add a few new categories, and few of the older one to combine in one ( to make room for the new ones).

I just check my 10 guest posts from him and 3 of them are from the same domain and other two are from the same domain.

BUT, the bigger problem all of his domain are de indexed by Google. This is a service I have received 3 week ago or less.
I am planing to write to him and if this is not settled I will open a SL if I must, but I'm hoping It would not go that far.

I like that you decide to write content for yourself. I myself was not good at first writing content but after few articles...I'm gradually getting there. If you are not experienced yet, i suggest you go after 1 keyword per article and with time you can start optimizing 1 article to target more than 1 keywords. I started out targeting 1 keyword per article but now i usually go after a minimum of 3 keywords per article and i usually get all ranked.

Thanks for the advice, I am hoping to get better over time. I am planing to write one article for one kw, I was not planing to add more kw in one article, I was planing 1kw=1article permanently.
