I am in the process of running a logo design contest and have created a poll with 2 of the best logo designs I've received.

Isn't that actually a bad thing? We definitely don't want our logo to be seen as a copy or simply very similar to another company's logo.

I would combine the best of the 2 and make it so the Text and the image are not detached in one way or another.

I think then it would be perfect.

I'll still wait a few hours more before taking my final decision to give the chance for more people to vote.

I agree with you. If the logo 1 turns out to be the winner, I'd ask the designer to change update the text to make it look even better. I believe if we turn all the text white and the word "link" in bold it should become the perfect design
