Like to know the time frame for 3.0 release as well. Have Pro version and think it's one of the best too.

Also, I use CR as my post/article writer as I can check density and lsi while writing - I then post article directly to my main blogs with CR.

One thing (there's a few others) that would be nice is if you could upload an image from your computer when writing an article. Can do a search for one on yahoo and dogpile, but from what I can see there's no way to use an image I have already - is there? Other than using an image I've already uploaded to blog by inserting url.

Also be nice if the editor had a few other text and layout tools - and the ability to set image as featured image.

Hey guys... yeah the launch of v3 has dragged on a bit. I am massively sorry about this. Due to some issues with the old text editor we've had to replace it with a new one, which has meant besically recoding the whole freaking application. It's been pretty awful, but we're on the final stretch. We'll have to release in Beta as it is such a big change. Should be within a couple of months.

That image idea is a good one, and yeah as you said you can't do it in the current version as the image would not be uploaded to the server. We'll add it to the feature requests

Must advice you to stop giving us time of release as it is making mockery of everything. Unless you are the actual programmer, you are at the mercy of your programmers because they can decide to take holidays. Imagine how many months you've been telling people about your new release soon. Better be quiet about it until they tell you that it is ready for release.

I just purchased the lifetime license. I used the trial and fell in love with it. I had Magic Rewriter before, but the developer hasn't done much to develop it since it's beginning. Chimp Rewriter blows it out of the water.

Sorry guys, as previously mentioned I've stopped providing a date on release as it has been pushed back so many times. Chimp is being redeveloped basically from the ground up again, in to make it way faster and more stable.

While there is no estimated release date, we're still going hard on development.

I picked this up today as the pro version and have been using it all evening to 'get to know it' so to speak. The learning curve for me is steep and I wish there was more videos as I hate manuals, in saying that I have also purchased the API key and looking forward to giving it a good run out through the weekend.
