Manual Blog vs AutoBlogs

Right now I am doing a manual blog.

To tell you the truth, I love and enjoy writing my blog, I try to get traffic, but it just isn't getting popular.

It's only a few months old, must I wait more time? I'd have more time to write articles everyday during the summer..
Must I post articles more often?

if you're curious, my blog is rhi*nothecat.com (im not promoting my blog, you dont even have to visit it, it's just in case you wanna know how and what im doing)

OR

should I go autoblogs?

P.S. I'm only 14 years old and I wanna make the most out of my life while I'm very young.

What do you suggest is better for making money?

Ive tried autoblogs and personally think that if the blog is completely automated it isn't very good.

Im in the same boat, ive got a week old blog that I post to manually and so far havn't got any traffic, but waiting for it to get indexed.

I think I'm going to go with autoblogs... Reason is that more people will find your site in google. Most traffic comes from search engines.

Only a few manual blogs are successful. Plus, they can get tedious when you try to write a new article everyday.

Autoblogs are the new era.
I think it's hop onto the autoblog boat in a few months, or else it's too late because autoblogs will be the "new thing" and thousands of more people will make autoblogs. By that point, only the old autoblogs will become famous. I guess I'll work on a few this weekend. School taking too much time :O

autoblogs work. Just search BHW and you're find lots of helpful autoblogs threads for your reference.

Although I must say if you are really only 14 and you wrote all that on your blog you are pretty talented. The stuff I read made me laugh.

I will say stick with your manual blog. Some people although rare do get somewhat famous for their blogs.

I would suggest you attempt to monetize the manual blog first and get a feel for it. Then start an autoblog in addition to that

The worth of your life is not determined by how much money you make and at 14 years old I concentrate on chasing girls more than making money...lol

That being said stop worrying about making money and concentrate on perfecting the system. Right now you have 19 pages indexed, thats not enough to make much money. Add to the fact you have not monetized your blog so there is no way you'll make money with it.

Autoblogs have been around a long time we're just perfecting the technique. Learn all you can!!!! They'll be around for a long time.

Your blog only has 150 backlinks....read on here how to promote you blog as well.

I'm glad it made you laugh. It's always these little sparks of inspirations which get me going, but then i fail in the end. I guess I should just never give up and have a positive attitude.

What I've really had a problem with though is monetizing my blog and getting traffic to it. I've never really understood it. People talk about social bookmarking, backlinks, etc... And I'm just standing there going "WTF?" O_______O....

Well I'm going to chime in a little bit here.

First of all gbmack: Nice.. it's nice to see a young teen is respectable and not a complete emo drama queen like hrmm hrmm someone we once knew.

I will make a few suggestions:
There is no way of monetizing what so ever on that website. You need to get some kind of affiliate ads or programs up there or since you're young perhaps you can do split the revenue with someone to put ads on your website.

Also: People are reading it.. you have 19 readers through Feedburner which for the writing style and topics isn't too bad really.

Well, try to write 1 post per day but before you do, go to the https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal Now what ever you were going to write about.. sum it up into a keyword and find a keyword that is getting some low searches. Without going into an entire lesson on keyword research, we're just going to leave that one at that since it's not the original question.

Consistency and content is the key. Base your posts off one keyword and try to include it 2-3 times in a 300-350 word post.

When you have made your post, ping your blog at http://www.pingler.com and go ahead and http://www.digg.com it. You can http://www.stumbleupon.com it if you like and there are hundreds most likely thousands of social bookmarking websites out there which you can easily find.

I think the main problem with your blog is well.. it doesn't have any way to monetize or earn money. Just blog about what you like and try to do it once a day. Since you can't join a lot of affiliate networks or such, I wouldn't go into auto-blogging. People go about this the wrong way and they get banned and plus you'd need your own hosting.

I would recommend for you to stick to manual blogging and keep at that blog. I don't care what the subject is, or how hopeless it seems some times, keep posting and you will profit.

How to make back links on or to?
I'm going to assume you mean to your blog and there's way too many ways to go about this to list here so I'll just list a couple.

#1 - Commenting on other relevant blogs which allow links and are ******** will help you build back links to your blog.
#2 - Exchanging links with other relevant blog owners and displaying them on the side such as a blog roll or "partners" will help you build back links.

Autoblogging involves some plug ins and what not. I'm no expert on the field but here is a pretty good thread on Auto-Blogging

Just wondering, how some of these blogs got popular... (vi*olentacres.com, and auth*spot.com) They're kinda similar to my blog. So how did these guys do it?

I think that you are going to have to give it some time no matter which method you use. It's just with a manual blog you are going to have to put in a lot more work as opposed to "setting and forgetting" with an autoblog.

The above is currently what I'm doing to improve traffic to my blog. Soon I will put up ads so I can earn some money. Apparently, everything I'm doing is "whitehat" Anything blackhat I can do to improve quality traffic rates?

You're 14? you don't want to be spending your free time manually building blogs, especially if it's to make money. You can probally make a 1/2 decent autoblog in less than 30 mins once you've built a few, but hey 14? don't waste your time, live your life, good luck anyway. cguru:

wheather you do autoblogging or manual blogging , the most important thing is keyword research, if you really want a huge amount of traffic.

I am yet to get an autoblog ,but definitely know that if you, do a research on your competition and at least make sure to get 500 views on every page of your blog,

you can slowly and steadily rank better and make more money through it.

Dont try to choose keywords that are most searched and have a huge amount of competition on them,

i mean there should be a huge amount of people searching for it, but not many people
to compete with.
