Hello,
I have a question :
let's say I found a niche called "niche" with x monthly research ( According to google keyword planner), and I ffound the domain name "niche".com unavailable.
There is only "niches".com available, but "niches" has half of the monthly reasearch.

i want to tagret the keyword "niche", can the domain name "niches.com" target the same keyword ?
I mean, can I rank with "niches.com" for the keyword "niche"?
In other words, and as john1444 said, can I have a domain name "abc.com" and rank for "123"?

I meant that the niche has 2 terms, what about i add a "-" like : wieght-loss ? and what about "theniche".com ?

adding a hyphen makes it worse from user's perspective.
If its only for IM hyphen may or may not be that much of a distraction. But in the long run, you'd still be irritated with that hyphen some day.

I would suggest onlineniches or bigniches
try to put closest adjective related to your niche and mash it with your 'niches' - you have a domain name then

It's a whitehat niche, and I think I'll add the-nicheterm1-nicheterm2.com.

Go for names that include "niche" but not necessairily EMD, you avoid getting too much attention and IMO it's better for SEO.

You can do it. But its not looks good. Im also not sure how it will work. Better is niches.com. Go with it.

I would prefer a short adjective instead of a hyphen.

I personally don't think that matters at all. In my point of view, as long as you do your SEO right, you will rank. No matter where your hosted or what is the name of your site.
