Thinking Of Forming A Whitehat Mastermind Group - Anyone Interested?

Now, first off let me say that this is NOT set in stone and I have 100% said that I am going to get a group together.

I had originally posted this in the JR. VIP section because my original plan was to only recruit JR. VIP section but I have decided to make use of the whole forum because there are still some good people and it's not hurting anything. Please know by reading through this and understand that I am not looking for just any ordrinary worker or some one who's going to take this lightly or as a hobby. You need a serious team for serious projects.

Now that the small and fine print is out of the way, let's get onto the details:

Now while this may be BHW, there are still a lot of knowledgeable and profitable people to work with in Whitehat areas as well. This doesn't mean you can't use BH methods to promote your WH businesses does it?

I am thinking of forming a group to dominate niches one by one. Face it, working by yourself is very time consuming and hiring someone to do all the work for you is always risky because you never know if they're never going to deliver as promised. I'm sorry if this post seems a bit long but if you're too lazy to read it all then I most likely don't want you anyways.. one thing I will not tolerate and one thing this team can not have is laziness.

Who I am looking for:
- People who can devote a bit of time to this, at least a few hours every other day. I don't want to start a group then all of a sudden we have people who "can't" contribute. You'll just be removed, that's pretty simple.

- People who are devoted, dedicated and have a sincere passion to make money online.

- People who are never too old to learn a new trick and are always looking to improve. You can't just be in this for the money, I need serious people who are devoted.

What I am looking for:
- Someone(s) who is good with Viral websites and is good with not only YouTube but other Viral sharing websites as well. I dropped out of the Viral game a long long time ago, and that's why I need someone who's up to date with the game and knows their way around these sites.

- A Social Website expert(s). I'm talking about someone who can utilize Squidoo/Hubpages/Wetpaint/Etc. Someone who knows all of the social websites that are of value and who knows how to use them efficiently to pull in traffic.

- Web Developer/Programmer/HTML Junkie. I am not god when it comes to creating websites and usually I just screw around in Dreamweaver/Frontpage to make my sites. So someone with programming skills in HTML and a good web developement knowledge database is a must.

- A Craigslist/Classifieds Poster. I'll be honest.. I suck with proxies and I suck with classifieds posting. This is why I need someone who works them and knows what they're doing with them and how to write effective ads that stick and bring in targeted people. You can use these classifieds websites for LITERALLY anything.

- Forum Poster(s). While this really is a brainless and mindless position. I need people who are devoted to their bit and willing to spend a lot of time on their bit only. I need valuable posters who will post valuable information to related forums in hopes of helping us gain some recognition with the SEs in the form of backlinks and some generous traffic from the targeted forums.

- Article Writer(s). While I don't plan on looking for any because I am damn good at it, it's something I would consider if needed. At this time though, I don't particularly need any.

This is not a definitive list, this is just an idea of what I will be looking for.

Let me get one thing straight here: I don't plan to target micro niches and take them down like Bum Marketing. The heavy niches are fierce and they are a nightmare for a one man job but wow are they hot sauce and profitable. I have never put together a JV before but if there is one thing I have learned from experience, I am great with a team, and great minds think a like.

DO NOT even bother wasting my or your time if:
- You are lazy
- You plan to coast through while a group of us does all the work
- You can't put a sufficient amount of time into this

I would like us all to have MSN so we can all have frequent chat sessions as communication is vital to the start of a major project.

DO NOT contact me if you're only looking to do this to make a few extra bucks and let it go after it's set up. I need a team of people who are always looking to improve the business and who are always looking at flaws and how to make them disappear. A business is never perfect and that is the attitude I want from each and every person I bring onto a team.

Before determining exactly what kind of project, this will be and exactly what this will be composed of, I would like to see who is interested first and what kind of people we have starting out with.

A few suggestions for you:

- If you mess around in Dreamweaver and frontpage, my suggestion is to just plain and simple stop it. Get wordpress, get the SalesLetter/Squeeze page plug-ins which are up for free download as of today in the download section and use them.

This cuts in website build time, can be integrated with existing methods (such as list building, which I don't recommend) and over-all produces higher quality websites.

- Use linkwheels with social groups (and use pingers, RSSSubmits), but in the sense of 2+ combined groups of 3 regular Social pages and one squidoo. The group interlinks, (3 pages interlinked and linked to squidoo), and one social page and one squidoo rank to the next. All of these pages individually link to the money page. It's what I personally use.

Of course, you'd social bookmark all of them with quality articles where-ever possible.

If I were to be involved in such a large scale project (which would be after I finish my own little JV, which I'm about to post), the answers would be something along the lines of this):

#1 - How much effort you can put into a large scale project.

1: Easily 4-8 hours a day. I don't really leave my computer and I enjoy what I do. The effort isn't directly contingent upon this; I would reckon I'd give it my fullest for an extended period of time. I'd work fully through weekends as well, as I'm really not interested in doing much else.

#2 - What position you would like to fill on the project.

2: SEO, high-PR (5-9) keyword-intensive link-building (no directories) and regular keyword optimization. Additionally, I'd take this further by creating authority-linkwheels, updating them with handwritten posts and pinging and bookmarking them.

In website design, I'd also create new and implement existing CSS templates, I'd do XHTML and copywrite/proofread. Unless, of course, you take my advice and use wordpress.

I'd not be interested in article/directory submits, unless done semi-automated. Anything else can be discussed.

Dreamweaver can be a nice little learning beginners tool for HTML and such.

For this JV it wouldn't be one of those short term small projects where we would hit up some CPA or hit up a mini niche site, collect some profit and get out.

I know how to work SEO and I know how work link building and create content. I could do all of this work on my own but instead I'm trying to take on a team where the work could be done much quicker and could be scaled up at a much quicker rate.

The goal I have in mind:
Tackle the highest competitive niches.. it can be done with the right group of core people. You just need to offer something better than they do and price it cheaper.

That sounds like work I could help you with.

I'm only a web developer as far as XHTML and CSS is concerned (occasional PHP, but that's where it ends). Dreamweaver is nice, but it depends on what you are offering and trying to produce. If it's a HTML/CSS only site, it's redundant, as mostly, it appears, WordPress Plug-Ins are superior.

Forum Posting I could do, but it seems imperatively useless, as loads of people can do that quicker, better and more effective than me. Besides that, it would be a waste of my skills.

This is certainly a nice discussion topic for such a group, though. I've subscribed to the thread. Feel free to respond to me.

IcedCube, sounds good. Right now I'm just in the stage of seeing who is interested. I would love to just take on every one that replies "OH ME PICK ME PICK ME" but I'm sure you and I both know that's not going to happen.

If this group does get together, I could definitely use you for web development. I just need to make sure every one else who is interested doesn't see this as a quick profit kind of opportunity.

If they want quick profits, they can go make themselves some Adword campaigns, I'd say.

One question before I leave (Need to sleep once every so often, after all.): which Niches do you prefer to tackle, or at least initially?

I work from home, so have lots of time. I can offer upto 3 hours per day.

Depends what's needed, i'm a good PHP coder who is currently working on automating link wheels. It would be good to hook up with another link builder to try and automate as much as possible.

That will depend on the people I get and their skills. I would like to take on Make Money Online. The top 2 spots for this keyword alone are Blogspots.

As for what we would take on first.. I can't exactly plan out which one it will be, but it will be one of the top niches.

Well, like I said I don't have a definite plan of "we're going to pursue this niche and we're going to sell this product or we're going to affiliate for this company".

Initially I would like to do affiliating and if all goes well, we can develop our own products to launch. It just would not be a wise investment or move to start right off the bat with your own products not knowing how it will turn out.

If your going to the trouble of creating a team, then marketing the teams own product is the only way to go, imo. You gota be fully commited, as a team to pull this off.

I would go as far as getting each member to pitch in $100 or so for the upfront costs of creating the products, which would be the classic ebook, followed by the upsells of audio, video and finally where the big money is coaching. Thats the sales funnel you want.

I may be interested in a tight-knit collaboration with a few like-minded people that are REALLY serious about doing something like this. Of course, I have other projects going all the time but I can always carve out and set aside a couple of hours per day for doing something I know will be profitable.

I'm just very weary of walking into something with 5 or 6 other people that I've never known or worked with before for obvious reasons (n00bs that don't know their asses from their elbows, lazy people, etc.)

I mainly specialize in developing/distributing my own products. I use WP for everything so I'm fluent in developing installations that are effective in getting the job done (i.e. blog sites for traffic to feed to either squeeze pages or landing pages). I also do a TON of viral marketing for everything I do.

I actually have a domain that's already indexed but collecting dust that I'd be more than happy to contribute (it's in the IM niche, so it'd be perfect for this project) if everything fell into place.

My times are usually changing very often, but as a general rule I can dedicate 1-4 hours a day, depending of current work load. I would say 2:30 as an average.

I am specifically a programmer(PHP, C++(*nix mostly)), I'm not interested in doing web design, it's just not my thing; but I'm very good in what I do.

It's not the only way to go. Making money online is not limited to just a few different ways.

I'm developing a team to tackle the most competitive niches in the market. Can this be done by a single person? Absolutely, but it would take a long time and you would be one busy busy man.

I'm not making members pitch in money or invest into something we're not sure where it will lead. I'm not trying to create a membership, just a core team and I am going to be very selective of the non-jr vip+ people that are interested.

While it wouldn't be the easiest or cheapest way (though not that difficult or that expensive), setting up a small C-corp and assigning a non-member to handle payment disbursement would be the best way. Just about any CPA can do this for a couple of hundred bucks or so + monthly fee.

Of course, something like that would be after an initial process of doing a few small-time projects with one another first to make sure the team works well together.

Another advantage of a C-Corp would, of course, be that the team can get aff. network accounts under the corporation title and everyone would be able to log in and view the details. Nobody would be left out of the loop. Same is true for Paypal account(s), etc.

Dealing with companies as a corp makes many doors open that aren't always easily opened to individuals (even if its just an individual behind the corp).

- While it would be fair to split the money equally to every one, it would depend on the job each person has. Each person is going to have one specific job they're going to have to do. It's going to be a complicated process, every one is going to be monitored, going to send in reports of their progress and we're all going to have daily discussions in via meetings to make sure every one is doing their parts, etc.

I can't give a blatant number right now and just say "oh 50/50" because that just won't work like that.

- This also depends. If it's our own product, then it will have to go one to one of ours and there has to be a bond with trust there. Such as a daily report of screen shots and earnings and the whole nine yards.

- This JV will last as long as we can make it work. Like I said, I don't want anyone who thinks this is going to be a one night stand type deal. We're not trying to get in and get out, this is for building a white hat income from the popular niches and this requires upkeep and maintenance.


If people can please refrain from posting inspirational type posts such as "You have to know where you want to go" or posting such suggestions as "Why don't you set this up". I am not new to internet marketing or making money online period. I know what I am doing.

I want to take down the large niches as I have stated many times.

Well, I've seen enough. You're not the only one that's been in this business for a while, yet I highly doubt someone that's so quick to start barking orders to potential partners has had many successful partnerships.

Especially when those people are only trying to contribute ideas.

Good luck with your plan, but it's starting to look like you just want 5 or 6 people to bark orders to, not partners.

Oh, and don't be so presumptuous as to think that just because someone isn't a "Jr. VIP" they aren't up to your standards. I've already worked with two or three other people from BHW that have ~10 posts and, like me, make more in a week than 95% of "Jr. VIPs" will ever earn in a year. That's what happens when you're busy making money and not jerking each other off in a forum.
