Micro Niche Sites or Authority Site?

I will start an adsense website, however i'm not english and will buy articles to the website or I will buy the website. However some members here sell micro niche websites and others sell authorities website. What kind of website should I buy? It is true that MNS doesn't rank anymore? The future is Authorities website?

Someone can give me your personal opinions?

MNS do rank. I just stumpled upon a PR5 niche site that has only 1 page + disclaimer and ranks on spot 1 for a 2000 monthly searches keyword (but it is 5 years old and sadly not mine ). As far as I can tell, both types have their advantages:

Micro Niche:
- Cheap to create
- Lesser effort to rank the site (since you won't have to rank a huge amount of pages and keywords)

Authority:
- High earning potential
- Lots of keywords to cover
- Authority through internal linking


Since you're a starter (if I got it right), I'd recommend to do micro niche first and learn about ranking on it. Authority is much more effort and if you fail it will cost you a lot more than a MNS.


If you're not interested in doing backlinking or site creation yourself, I guess you can buy 1 MNS for 30 - 50 $ and rank it with a service for about 20 - 60 $ in BST.

Create smaller sites and I would advise you to see you can promote some affiliate offers on your site not just Adsense. Don't leave money on the table!

Totally agree with the reply above, until you know what you are doing don't invest too much money into buying websites

Instead of buying it at higher price, you can build such small MNS sites yourself and save some money.

Just outsource the content creation and set up sites with Wordpress, its simple.

If you are new, get started with micro niche sites and take good care of them.

If you don't know much about ranking and stuff, start from a MNS and when you start earning goof money and have enough money to invest, purchase an authority site from Napster.

Well at least it is quite easy to create MNS. How would you go about creating authority site?
May be some of them starting as a small niche site and then grow into authority.
