BH method for Online Poker

so there's been a spike of interest in making money with poker online, well I bought an ebook a while back, I no longer have it, sorry, but I do remember the method. The method is simple, I've never tried it, but it's about owning the majority of the table. The method went as follows, and you can laugh if you want, I did too, lol

Get 4 computers together and 4 hide my ip programs installed on each computer.

You need a device, I forgot what it's called, but basically it allows you to connect all 4 computers together via this box, and you only need one monitor with this said device. Maybe someone here knows what I'm talking about.

You play a little bit with each account, then set all four of your accounts at one table and wait for 2 people to come.

I was never able to get 4 decent enough computers together with 4 different licenses from hide-my-ip, I was gonna give this a shot, maybe someday.

The whole idea behind this method is owning the majority of the table. I won't tell you how to play poker, but if you know how to play texas hold em, and yo uknow the majority of the cards, you can bet and basically muscle the money around and out of the other 2 players.

That's pretty much it, it's a simple method, if you got 4 computers, 4 poker accounts, and a lot of time on yer hands, there ya go.

4 laptops each on an aircard sitting next to each other would work well. Doesn't have to be laptops; I have 3 laptops and one desktop sitting in my office all within 3 feet of me, so if you get a few cheap computers setup, you could probably do this. I know nothing about their security measures, though, so don't take my word on it; this is just a layman's observation.

actually you guys are all wrong, its really hard for them to find out if you are cheating using this. Just make sure the money goes around between your accounts.This will work , its possible but it also requires you have a good understanding of poker.

don't play with the same accounts, you need 4 different poker accounts with 4 different ip's.

I'm not sure, but I think that a method similar to this is used by the famous Pelayos family.

They used to break casinos using really cool methods, until they get banned from all casinos in the world.

Now the rumors say that they connect several computers to poker games, just as @highrider tells.

Look for "pelayos" in google or wikipedia.

it works but not to the extent you think. just because you know 4 out of 6 hands doesnt mean you are going to be winning.

the other player might only play 8% of his hands... the rest of the time, you are going to have to be folding and slowly get raked down. also, when the other player does play, he probably has something good and your hands wont have a good chance. you basically remove all your implied odds, you rake yourself down, and if you are playing with anyone who knows what they are doing, they know whats up.

this is not to even mention that the site has security measures that will catch you fast and you wont be able to withdraw your funds.

a method that might work though.....

sign up for 9 accounts with a site like full tilt poker. deposit $600 in each and have all the accounts sit at one table. ftp matches your deposit up to $600 as long as you get x amount of their player points (which is generated through rake). so basically just have your bots fold around most of the time so you are breaking even on all accounts which will rake you down but get you the $600 bonus on each account. i'm not sure if the rake is faster than the bonus though.

What limits, which poker game : nlhe, lhe ,plo, razz, stud???

I've always wanted to do this, but on a different level. I'm a winning 200nl 6 max and 3/6 lhe 6max/he player, and I would love to own 2 seats. It's not about just knowing what cards are still out there; it's about finding weak players and extracting every dime out of them. Own more than one seat will let you constantly isolate the suckers. You would need to play your seats against each other, maybe even stack them every once and again.

This would work better at one of the less popular games like razz, stud (information is so key), 2-7, or 5 card draw.. The less popular games have regulars that constantly sit together, so it won't look so fish. I like self-collusion because it means that I could play less tables and have the same win rate. Instead of 4 tabling, I can 2 table with 4 players.

Obviously this would work best at the lower stakes. Ultimately, you need to already be a winning player, and then this sort of becomes less enticing.

I'm not so sure about how awesome the security is of the casino. Obviously the casinos will have you believe they're running top notch shit, and can catch onto shit like that, but if this is true, it wouldn't be a fast catch, it's 4 diff accts, with 4 diff ip's. you'd have to be smart about it, set one or two accts down and play a couple hands, move them to a table, move them again, and whatever to finally have them land at the same table.

Yes, ofcourse if you did this everyday, with the same 4 accts on the same tables, they're gonna look in on it. Even then, I think that's all they can do.

The casinos love it when you have you and your friend playing over a phone, why? because most poker players fuck it up, and wind up screwing themselves over...you have to have poker knowledge going into this, I suggest reading a book on poker first.

having good hands on the get go has nothing to do with it, the majority of the time in online poker when you get a good hand, you'll lose, it's the algorithm that sets it up this way.

This method still comes down to good poker playing, this method puts the odds in your favor, and with good timing I think could be quite powerful...2 accts got shitty hands, ok, quick fold, which depending on position will cost you nothing, or just a blind.
when the other person bets and your sure you got them, keep in mind you know more cards, if you know you can eliminate certain cards from out of the deck, this is a big advantage, if you don't know if the real person at the table is betting on a queen or whatever, and your other accts you've seen 3 queens, that's just good info to have.

I dunno, like I said, I've never tried, but I think given the right knowledge of poker, the advantage, and the knowledge of cards that it's possible to make money this way.

If you try it, and you find your losing money, fuck it, stop and count your lossess. It's gambling afterall, be smart, no method is fullproof.

As for what was said above, the biggest issue is getting raked out if you own a majority of the table. 3 accounts out of a 5 man is about the best odds to make cash on a sit and go. Tournament, works to own the 4-5 seats.
