Wordpress is better if you're purchasing your own domain and will be having a monthly hosting package.
Blogger is better if you need a free version instead of investing every month. It has much better options for the free version than the free version of WP does.

always blogger if this is a churn and burn kind of a site and wordpress if you have plans longterm.

Blogger for beginner and wordpress for professional, To be honest I learned on blogger, because it's easier to use.

Recommended Wordpress only. Because easy to use & user friendly interface. Whatever our needs plugin will be install asap. And make sure Themes also really awesome & customized too.
Blogger are no plugin install. Mostly themes are basic only. But easy to customize coding related. Google prefer Blogger because they prefer own products only.

I too has a doubt initially but after doing prople research in various threads in this forum, I would suggest wordpress to you too.

Wordpress for sure. It provides publishers without technology skills an easy website platform.

Wordpress, no real comparison!!
According to me, If you are a newbie blogger, you must start your blogging journey on Blogger or if you think that you are becoming popular then you must start blogging with WordPress.
WordPress is better than Blogger, but as i wrote for newbie blogger is the best platform.
Most of the bloggers would definitely agree with me.

Wordpress works more efficiently than blogger and learning how to use it will help in the long run.
