Great, although could I play Devil's advocate on this? There are some folks who never have the ability to live this kind of dream, those who physically or mentally do not have the capacity to follow these ideals through. Think of those trapped in dead-end jobs in towns with no other opportunities, a family to support... farmers locked in a cycle of debt... those with physical disabilities, those too low in intelliegnce to achieve real change - none of these folks can realistically look at this list and say: 'yeah, I'll just think positive and achieve'.
This may seem like pointless negativity, but it's sort of like telling people who hate their job 'you should get a job you love'. You think those people haven't thought about changing a job, that the one thing stopping them was a lack of imagination? No, they probably think about it every day; just as many people are extremely positive in all they do, try their hardest and still have no chance.
Don't get me wrong, I think this post started with useful words and I think there are many, many people who can apply them to live better (myself included). I just think the words should be tempered with the obvious reality that many people are faced with.
If you're wondering, I'm actually a surprisingly positive person...
