Most of my projects now show the "no targets to post on (maybe blocked by search engines...)"

but when looking at the verified URLs for the projects I see SER keeps generating links - so what is the reason for this message?

I've discussed this with Sven a few times and he said he doesn't see any bugs that could be causing this. :/

If you have a VPS I can login and look at your settings.

In project options where it says, "verified links must have exact URL - When to verify" set it as "never/disabled". You will still see certain platforms instant verify but many will be disabled.

Yeap the 100% cpu usage was on my end too, i couldn't login into my VPS for the past 2 days. Had to force reboot the VPS, im glad you guys solved the problem.

No, the install on the latest version is working fine. Many people are using 8.05.

Are you downloading it from the free trial button the first page of this sales thread or the website directly? Maybe try downloading it with a different browser.

That means proxies won't be used when identifying URLS. I leave that option unchecked.

Why leave that option unchecked? Seems like it would speed things up a lot.

Thread count might effect this but I'll get some clarification from Sven. *edit* Yes increasing thread count while pinging will increase the speed.

Why leave that option unchecked? Seems like it would speed things up a lot.

I just leave it unchecked as I don't feel I need proxies when its identifying a URL. It's not actually submitting anything or scraping from the SE's so I don't use my private proxies.

Can you tell me what Sven's opinion is on my feature suggestion? The one in the quotes below, I mean. I'm not trying to rush or anything, I just want to know if I should wait, or if I should just start my new Tier 1 campaigns elsewhere. It's not practical for me to change the program I'm using midway.

My suggestion is for SER to be able to scan which possible anchor texts are featured in the current version of an article and then choose one of those in the article to make it a link.

I seriously doubt thats feasible, and if it were, any time soon. What you are asking is for GSA to "read" an article, understand it, and then "decide" which anchor texts to make links to? That sounds like some sort of AI and I dont think that will be out anytime soon. Dont overcomplicate things man, just run with your campaigns and go make some money.

I upgraded GSA yesterday and the program is no longer working. I went from 100k links / day down to 0! And I haven't changed anything other than doing an upgrade. I did the upgrade, pressed start, and in the past it always would start posting. This time, all it does is just sit there and find more and more proxies, but it will NOT post AT ALL to any sites (and I DID press start). Whats even weirder is I have it set to 150 threads like normal. And running at that pace it would only use about 30-50% of my CPU. Right now, its only using 5 threads (won't use any more), and its max'd out at 99%. The CPU usage doesn't drop, it just stays stuck at 99% and GSA doesn't post any links at all.

I noticed there is another upgrade available. So I'm rebooting my VPS, I'm going to upgrade and see what happens.

But if GSA continues to work like this, can I send you my login details for my VPS? This is a serious issue for me and I could really use some help.

Please try the latest version, you will see there have been bug fixes over the last few updates. I'm running the latest version now through a scraped list and its running like normal.
