So if I was to use this.. setup a forum do little bit of advertising you think this will give you an active forum?

It could. It's main purpose is to be used as an SEO tool, but it is entirely possible that people could join and become actively engaged in the conversation. I would say that this is much more likely if the topic of the forum is controversial and non-commercial.

Right, you cannot have both WP and phpBB in the same folder of the same domain. You'd have to install it to a sub-folder, like /forum/

But no matter what I do in setting permission on this it still won't correct itself .
I know it not a FG problem ....

I bought Forum Generator a couple of days ago, and got it setup on my VPS yesterday with no problems at all. Works like a charm, one of the best script purchases I have ever made.

One BIG problem though; I have over 550 1-6 word key phrases setup and overnight Forum Generator produced over 2000 posts and replies. Unfortunately, less than 2% have any relevancy to any of my keywords. The forum is completely useless as-is and I am deleting it and waiting until I either have a better understanding of how FG uses keywords, or the update is released with better keyword control.

Does anyone have any tips for getting relevant posts out of FG? I do my keyword research with Market Samurai, Keyword Elite and edit for duplicates, etc. in Keyword Pad. I divide my keywords into separate lists that I associate with different forums with FG.

Is there a sweet spot for the number of words in a long tail keyword phrase, or a certain number of keywords I should upload to FG at one time?

This program has amazing potential, but I need to get it to make relevant posts or it is pretty much worthless to me.

Try not to use keywords with multiple or ambiguous meanings. One of the forums i generated during testing was all "honda" related keywords. I think FG made 1500 posts or so, and every single one was laser targeted because Honda is only really used in one context (talking about automobiles)

Compare that to using a keyword like "black hat", where it might generate a post about fashion, or internet marketing, or anything in between.

I think you will be happy with the next release of FG because it has a few levels of keyword matching to help with irrelevancy. Not sure when this is due for release

That is one way to use it, but even if you just wanted backlinks, I would prefer to have them coming from a forum that at least looks like it is somewhat related to my money site.

The way I intend use FG is to have it generate tons of keyword targeted posts that link to specific landing pages on my blog. Search engines love forums, and posts with long tail keywords can end up ranking high on Google.

I hope that people will click on the post on Google search results, then click on the links within the post leading to my landing page. The tons of targeted backlinks won't hurt either.

there isnt... the op should of put a serial on.. its gonna ruin it when everyone on the net has this for free

im not gonna... but believe me, there are asses that will - i mean look how many people try to get xrummer free - theres just so many people dont realise what a pain in the arse programming this great tool will of been - and they are still stretching to offer great support

The decision to leave FG open source was deliberate; not an oversight. Eventually, we'll be showing people how to write their own scrapers, mods, and plug-ins. Closing up applications may make it slightly harder to steal, but doesn't stop theft. The benefits of keeping it open are much, much greater than the disadvantages of people stealing something they were never going to pay for anyway.

The advantage of buying is that you have access to us for help, you'll get updates the moment they come out, and you'll get early notice and major discounts on anything we release. Most of the people that would steal are morons who wouldn't have a clue about how to use it properly and won't get our assistance with learning.

Probably not. It says phpBB on the tab, but check to see if it actually installs phpBB 3. Probably 3.0.4, in fact.

Really good and does everything he said it would. It is getting the final fine tuning and a few added options on it. You get those updates free when they come out so thats why its not a 10.

I get fast replies via email, through bhw pm, and through his support forum. there is even a support system within the actual program! guy is A+ with customer service

CHEAP price! I would say that the only better price is free but that's not right. if it were free, this might become over saturated and too competitive. this price is completely worth it and keeps all the noobs out.
