Is It Really A Good Time To Invest In BitCoins?

Dogecoin is more a joke than a currency. Why are we even talking about it?

The trouble with bitcoin is that it's so unstable, no one really knows which way it's going to go.

I ll make sure to send you a postcard from the moon when we get there. By then just keep laughing at it.

Do me a favor once you get there, will ya? Check if its legit?

Bitcoin investment at this stage is SUPER risky. Not because it fluctuates (all currencies do). It is risky because of the amount of current countries that has black listed it and the many countries that are putting in the infrastructure to completely blacklist it is as well.

Businesses in many countries have be either warned or injunctions filed for their continued usage.

Regardless of blacklisting attempts, the point is, there is no controlling of Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency. Such instruments are on an international, independent network that operates on peer-to-peer open source software. Nobody owns or controls it, so there is no one to issue an injunction against. While professional exchangers doing transactions for others are subject to regulations, regular owners of BTC can conduct transactions with each other freely as direct parties.

It is a good time to invest in (i.e., acquire) all types of crypto-currency LONG TERM. It's the jokers who are speculating short term, thinking they can double their money over a few months and make a quick kill, who are getting killed by its short term volatility. Compared to its value 3-4 years ago, Bitcoin has been a tremendously stable long term asset. Get today, and don't even think about a mass sell off until several years from now, and you'll be OK.

Because of a dream I had, the other day, I know the future of Bitcoin! It's a very bright one! The digital revolution has begun!

Rather invest in Google stocks. It's moving up slowly right now & as soon as the Google glass comes out it will plunge... I'm already at 13%+ gain since last month.

Questions says everything.
"Is it really a good time to invest in [Insert Anything]" is really a personal question and is different for every person. It's something you should decide for yourself based on how risk averse you are, what sort of return you are seeking, your income etc....

So based on the fact that you don't seem to know anything about bitcoins / investing in general and are looking for spoon fed answers, you'd be better off just keeping your money in the bank and taking your 1% interest

IMO, right now its way too risky to invest in bitcoin. Its having hard time since Dec 05,2013 and is declining too quickly.

FYI, It has been manipulated on Feb 10 from 600 (High) - 102 (Low), and it might happen again and again. Just my 2 cents.

Did you know that Bitcoin is only backed by user confidence, and the fact you asked the question has answered the question. No one has the answer to this question, and seems like you are asking for a push of confidence to make the plunge. Seriously I saw a couple months ago bitcoin drop from 1k to 450 dollars within hours, lol. Is that the type of investment you want to put your hard earned cash into?

Well said !
Bitcoins are nothing while being something.
Right now i'm building up my bitcoins. There's lots of things you can do with them that you can't do with other currencies and/or Paypal and alike

Look up "portolio theory."

With the level of risk in Bitcoin, choosing to invest in it is a choice between 0% allocation and 1%-5% allocation. It's risky, it's volatile, and has a whole lot of upside if it pays off (again) as well as a whole lot of downside if it gets battered (again).

There's a fair chance the whole thing flatlines due to government intervention. Or that it becomes the future of commerce.

The decline of bitcoin will be the exchanges used to trade it.

Buy it, and keep it in your wallet on a hard drive, not in a virtual account. Use it as a tool for anonymous purchases. If you make money ... great. If you lose money, make sure you didn't bet the farm on it.

Treat Bitcoin just like any other investment, only invest what you can do without and it is a sane investment.

Mainstream sites are now accepting bitcoin as a form of payment, Fiverr being one of them http://blog.fiverr.com/fiverr-now-accepting-bitcoins/?utm_source=fm_ct&utm_term=n235

I have also seen shops and stores around town that now accept bitcoin as payment via app. Dogecoin is now starting to be a form of accepted currency in the UK on the same level as this. http://www.coindesk.com/london-burger-stall-accepts-dogecoin/

Dogecoin did start out as a joke but is now being looked at as being the more stable of the two mentioned here.

Do you want to invest on bitcoin mining or you want to invest on bitcoin trading. I suggest you to invest on bitcoin trading instead of bitcoin mining.
