I have no clue how he is doing it. If he's doing it just by black hat, than it is a shame that he's been outed. However, if he is hacking other peoples websites like has been mentioned a few times throughout this thread, than why are you all worried about him getting caught? Some of his sites are already being banned. I see quite a few of his domains disappearing.

I was just doing some random keyword research and googled the phrase - rapid weight loss now

And there's a guy in 90% of the first 5 pages possibly more didn't go that far back. Random sites all rated 5 stars redirecting to the same site. Crazy!!!

I dunno how he did it, or how long it will last. But I find it impressive.

I agree that outing sites is not cool and it's one of the lowest things we can do to each other - even if the guy is using shady tactics like hacking wp sites and what not.

But since the cat is out of the bag let me point something out so you stop bickering about ranking for useless keywords. That's not the only keyword he is doing it for; some of them get thousands of searches per month - and redirect through to the same product. I would guess that he uses the same goo.gl link for those as well. The point is though that it's working for him and even though this keyword is seemingly useless - not all of them are

1 thing i dont know is does he indexes the sites first than redirects all traffic with modifying .htaccess or he is using a useragent redirect and let crawlers see the site and content and only organic visitors are redirected ?

I've been following this guy for a few weeks and I have to take my hat off to him. An awesome spam. He's all over all kinds of competitive niches including lots of high $$ pharma. The fake rating stars and geocoordinates are genius and really make the results stand out in the serps. And excellent penetration skills to have compromised that many hosts, this guy is sitting on a lot of domains.

imo he's using user agent redirect only. Using .htaccess would be asking for trouble.
