Do not do ipod, use your imagination, and change it up a bit, think of a whole new different story, thats how you become successful, when you use the same technique as the original one, you gotta figure your trying to replicate something that probably 100+ other people already got to as soon as this thread as been opened. as hammad said use one of the blackberry submits. that is your best bet

I just wanted to point out something that I've noticed in the past while using this method (or just about anything off of CL).

I haven't done any formal studies on it, but I *have* noticed a big decrease in the amount of "f-ing spammer!" e-mails I get back, and an increase in the "thanks anyways, I'll check the website out." e-mails.

Like Boosey was saying, I don't use an auto-responder, I respond to each e-mail by hand (by copy/paste at least), but one thing I make sure to do on every single e-mail is to address to that particular person.

i.e. If John Smith e-mails me for my free iPod, I would send him:

John,

Sorry, but ..... blah blah blah

blah blah affilliate link blah blah

It may be common sense, but it makes them feel that the message is just a little more personal, and a little less spammy.

TJ concerning the gmail you're probably unable to use that account for 24 hours...that's happened to me in the past. Gmail has seemed to crack down lately on how many emails you send. If you're going to send the emails manually you have to do no more then about 10 and then logout. Wait about 10 minutes then login and send 10 more. It sucks. Or create more gmail accounts and copy/paste the email address you want to send to...but that takes along time and is a pain in the ass...but it works.

Too bad the ipod stuff is saturated, a friend of mine just bought an iphone yesterday, and another friend (who is on her way over right now) just got an 8gb ipod touch.... so I could get some really convincing photos of the iphone my parents just bought me, because they didn't know I already had an ipod touch....
