Finally, Friggin' eBay Is Useful... 1K-3K From Glitch

Great stuff, easy to test. It's very true about such a small percent actually act on an idea, no matter how good it is. People like the feeling, but not the work. I might give this a shot with some other offers I'm brewing.

I finally been accepted at a CPA that has real good offers, I found something that has a shipping price of 5.95.

this shouldn't not affect the listing, right?

edit: not that I mind, the charge was 10.10. Now is this for every listing or a monthly fee

Now using TL I keep getting an error that says 'The title and/or description may contain improper words, or the listing or seller may be in violation of eBay policy' not sure if it's the links or what. i'm in a rush and i will figure it out later

Yes, shouldn't affect the listing.

I still put it at 1cent... as long as the main item is free (minus shipping/handling).

Your 2nd question is answered by Questionable correctly.

I am already seeing some classified ads with the glitch
appearing from people who most likely have been reading
this post. (Their ads have some formats the same as my
example)

So, there you go... the glitch is still working and it still
place you on first page of "low to high price" option.

I am not too sure either.

I just saw some ads still appearing with the glitch
and the link out.

Do check out their forum for the usual nitty gritty
problem from eBay itself.

it was a rush job, i'll find the problem. i'm sure it's user error and not the method...wait it is the method. people don't try this. it's not worth it :D

I'm having problems when I try to post it as a Classified Ad. It wont let me put it in the category that it should be under. They only have a few categories when I choose Classified Ad. What up with that?

Read the ClassifiedAds TOS.

They only allow you to do it in certain categories, not all.

I usually use the "incentive..." sub-category.

Classified is a different beast from the normal auction.

lol

long story short I figured out the problem. to the OP, I don't know you, I do know I appreciate what you posted.

It seems every time I put up a listing on ebay I can never find my own listing when I do a search for it. And its nothing different this time either my listing is active but doesn't show up when I search.

It can take up to half a day or more for your listing to appear in their search...

Just a quick question about categories

Do we have to put the offer in the "everything else" category?

Like will it work if we use the health and beauty category?

Eh this idea needs preserveing, perhaps changing the ebay etc?

This is useful for me, because I never did a classified on e bay, only selling and buying auctions. I like the fact that the fee is high for listing. That is $10 that e bay wants from as many people that they can get it from, and they're really hurting, so I think they won't fool around with the system now.

As far as I can figure, this is not really gaming the system. It's a bit of a loophole but if you get yourself a few high converting offers and can funnel a few classifieds into them, you can probably put up 4 offers (say with 4 or 5 classifieds each as an example) that's 20 classifieds at $10 each minimum, e bay will like to take your $$ for that ALL DAY long instead of listing fees of 50 cents for a 10$ sale.

I "m going to keep looking at this thread to see who did the thing and how it is converting for them.

Thanks for the post.

this is really great stuff. but I am bit confused about free shiiping element. of your price is 0.01 then wouldn't it come on the top when sorted by low to high price anyway? am I missing something here?

Also does anyone have a template that has been successfull in eBay classified ads?

Thanks

Man, I wish we could list anything in their classifieds...Could be making so much more money. :( Oh well, I'll take what I can get! lol.
