I saw an earlier post about starting a webcam studio and being an affiliate
for Imlive or webcams I guess. I don't think getting girls to e-pimp would be a problem for me but I wanted to get some experience from some vets maybe.


Is this a bad idea to begin with and if it is why ? I mean I guess it would be optimal to just rent a place and get girls to webcam at an location instead of home ??


Any thoughts ???

I'm wondering about this, too. I have an escort that is interested in doing this, and our start date is in 2 weeks. I need to figure out price. I was thinking $15 for 15 mins. I would have her make me a teaser video to entice the guys, and then sell them the package. I need more girls, and maybe I should start an affiliate program when I get big enough.
I need to sell 20/ day to make 150.

I could also do some heavy internet marketing with her teaser videos to entice guys to schedule a date with my escort at her incall location... Charge her 20% for the traffic I send her... Maybe that's my new hustle: Escort marketer. Get about 20 girls and introduce them to horny guys.

@pinkprincess : Well, what I am doing is just having these girls sign up under my studio and they are camming from home with their own equipment.

I am just asking as a business model because I know some of these cam sites offer studio sign ups so I wanted to pick the brain of anyone who knows about the business or has experience with what I am talking about.

Thats cool. Just making sure that you knew you need documents. All cam sites require that the models have the 2257 documents I think is what they are called. You need to prove they are all over 18 or you can get in some serious trouble.

Adult of course is a good market just make sure you have yourself covered.

I mean, one problem I here with creating studios is that the girls can just leave and go on their own, becuase your not really providing any value unless its equipment etc...

But I have read on other forums where girls want to get a bigger cut and be their own agent or studio.

So I dont know if anyone had anything to add to this ??

I'm doing it a little differently--- 100% independent of the big dogs. The girl will shoot from her home, and I will funnel clients to her.

I'm thinking that I would much rather get her more clients for her escort service than do the webcam thing as the major focus.

Thats cool mike, but how are you going to deal with, letting the guy see the girl. I guess unless you make a site...

I've been going down this route as well although I was paid upfront by a contact to do it for him. In theory it looks like it could work.... especially if you can get some good performers who are able to work 2 or 3 sites at a time. I'm set to launch in the next 2 or 3 weeks (waiting on an EIN which I need to sign up as a studio on a few sites) but I have the girls waiting to go and can honestly say that finding them was no problem... a simple ad on Craigslist done the trick.

Where I see the big money coming is in marketing the girls you have working for you. Get them to start working for you getting punters to sign up underneath their (and yours aff link) which will generate even more. I have also started slowly building my models profiles on facebook, bebo, myspace etc. and am getting the usual flood of horny guys which i am planning on converting (via the models)

My main worry about this is the variances between all of the cam sites. Some pay direct to you as the studio, some pay direct to the model and give you a commission. Thats cool but when I start scaling up am a little worried about the payments and general booking keeping and accounting.

Be keen to hear from anyone who has made bank from studios

Yea payment can be an issue, sites like IMlive make it pretty easy because the girls dont see their earnings in their control panel so that wont be an issue, but they still can access the site and start looking around and hopefully they won't see become a chathost lol.

Thats a fear that I have, thats killing me, because these sites dont really care if these girls leave or not...

But I guess possibly the stable paycheck and the uneducated chat host can keep you safe... I hope so

But yea, the payment to you the studio owner and a payment to the chat host can really mess up an operation trying to sclae, due to retention rates. Thats my .02

just make sure the models stand out from the rest of the models on that site to make a decent earnings on that site i dont own studios myself but i helped gals to set them up and get models and the sites usually share 50/50
