It got so bad that Mark Twain wrote an essay about it called the "United States of Lyncherdom". It was not published in his lifetime because he did not believe the American Public was capable of taking such a hard look at themselves..

Too many immature people these days - BHW is becoming less business orientated by the day and more entertainment orientated - hence people jumping on threads with their 2 cents all the time when they are not involved.

BHW is great that we have a community that cares about people getting ripped off - but quite a few people don't understand how to conduct themselves in public, hence threads turn into a shit storm quite easily...

That's because I'd like to see people treat IM more like a business and less like a game. When I joined in 2008 I could barely use a computer. This year I'm going to be close to turning over 7 figures and I couldn't have done that without BHW being a useful resource for me over the years - of which I have spent many hours for many years contributing and helping out. I'd like to make sure there are more success stories like me in the future rather than a forum full of people thinking that IM is just for messing about and that it can't be turned into a real business.

If people want to come to BHW for entertainment and to post in the lounge, then that's fine, I just think that should be a small percentage of the time, not 50% which it feels like. I like to have fun and enjoy myself as much as anyone else - most people around here think I'm grumpy (true) and about 60 years old (I'm 25) until they meet me in person and see I'm just like the rest of you...

EDIT: you may think I'm a dick, but in 5 years time if I manage to help one person grow a successful business with the help of BHW then I would have succeeded. I can't imagine anyone is going to be thanking the "popular" members who post memes and other bullshit all day...
