It's very hard for me to pinpoint exactly what Google is doing, I have 12 different sites that use SAPE links for 80% of the links, and 7 of them got a penalty and the other 5 are still going strong. I analyzed so much shit to try and pinpoint exactly what triggered the penalties but couldn't.

I used MY OWN SAPE ACCOUNT. I HAND PICKED every single site I bought a link for. Made sure it was indexed and had decent links and good PA/DA. I ONLY used .com, .net, and .org sites and EVERY SITE was an ENGLISH site (most were .com links actually). I did not buy 100's of links. In fact I had less than 60 total. I didn't buy them all at once either but staggered over many different days. Stayed on top of them CONSTANTLY. None of them were deindexed by G, etc..

I GOT WHACKED on Sunday like many others. If you didn't, more power to you. But STOP SPEWING THIS COMPLETE BULLSHIT that people who are getting banned have no clue what they're doing, because I forgot more about what I was doing than most morons will ever know. And I got whacked.

Yeah I can solve it with a 301 but I REALLY don't want to do that with this domain. Haven't had to do a reconsideration before (didn't care but this time I do). From what I read it's basically a waste of time for most, but I'll try it. Any advice to achieve success with it is highly appreciated.

Your site got banned because you've been taking advice from people who are full of shit.

There's only one way to recover your site. You sell your soul to Google, go with their program and do every single thing they say(disavow links, pull pants down, etc) and then you may have a shot and even then you may lose your site. Best of luck.

SAPE is like any other Bh method. You do it and pray you don't get slapped. There is no link diversification, there is no "use dot com instead RU TLDs". If you're lucky you will stay longer out there, if you aint you're gonna get busted.

He gave his own example which is different from mine, both got whacked. How is my example "flawed"?

The fact his example is different does not invalidate my own experience. I didn't claim I knew all the footprints google uses, I just pointed out one very obvious footprint left by very knowldgeable and reputable SEOs.

Also, he said we're full of shit then asked for advice. How is my reply childish? If anything, someone saying fellow professionals are full of shit is the childish reply IMO.

Flying under the radar, choosing links wisely, etc. Then you think your choices were supreme(when obviously they weren't, since you're now banned) and then you offend other professionals and procede to beg advice from the same pros you just said were full of shit. Talk about flawed logic.

I'm thinking of continuing my experiment by doing exactly what I suggested you do, with or without the sarcasm, I am putting my money where my mouth is.

The people who sold me the links ARE knowldgeable, trust me. They screwed up or their link choosing robot/algorithm screwed up. I found links in porn pages where it looked like a grenade blew up in a dictionary, it was 100% trash content, random shit everywhere. Others were 100% russian language and my green bold link screaming out from the middle of the page "ban me". I'm not saying the links you chose were like that, but mine were. also .RU.

I don't think your example invalidates my own. That map shows a clear footprint I'd immediately shoot for if I was google. That's all I'm saying and I hope others find the tip useful.

MY ENTIRE POINT was NOT that it's "impossible" to use SAPE wisely, it was to refute the garbage you were spewing that if you did so, you'd be fine. Obviously they've taken penalties to a new level and have crawled under the radar.

I've used SAPE successfully on NUMEROUS sites. Notice I said I used my OWN account. I'm not at the mercy of what those so-called pros are doing for you and others. Your ego obviously can't deal with that (as others pointed out before I did) so have fun talking to yourself.

Well I don't know what to make of it. Can anyone confirm that? SAPE sites are commonly hacked to include the links? Is that info accurate?

I had some sites using SAPE get hit in this recent Google push. Does anyone have good advice for 301'ing my penalized site to a new site to try and recover rankings faster? Is there one method that works better then others?

301 just the homepage? or should I 301 every page on the old site to the new version of that page on new site?

What are your thoughts on simply cloning the old site to a new domain/IP (same content and url structure)?
