I grabbed a spot as well, going to cancel in a few days as I really don't see the value to be honest. A lot of hype for nothing, tbh I find backlinks genie way better.
I've got the "scholar" package and going to give it a month or two. So much of it depends on how aged and "connected" the accounts they use for retweets and facebook shares.
Also what the premium links are like (authority and private syndication). If they are good, if the private and authority links have PR2 or greater and are permanent, if the facebook and twitter accounts used are really well connected - then this package is just about worth it.. If not....
The rest is pretty "meh" but ok for variation. Trying it on a couple of brand new sites in modest niches. Will give it two months, but to be honest having seen what you get, I'm not overly impressed. But I'm happy to give it a go.
Scritty
Aged and connected?

doesnt really suck when you know what you are buying before you buy it. what sucks is having people use your service and then request a refund because two-weeks ddint dliver results
but really though what were you expecting for $66 mo? that sounds like you got what you paid for. if you were paying thousands a month then expectations should be set high. but you get what you pay for.
try them for 8 mo. 0 movement.. they say to much competition for the niche - pay more to get.. bla bla
whatever...

Well that seems over-priced. I don't think it worth $66. By the way what is "Secret Ingredient."
You don't know what you are buying without a trial, let's make it clear. If they advertise super-duper social media links and sell you crap twitter re-tweets etc it means you paid expecting something more, which is not the case.
Nobody asked for refunds because of 2-weeks no results shit, it's only because of the quality of links. Read again, carefully.
Probably jalapeno peppers.
Mate I have to agree with him, What can you really expect for $66 a month? If you are expecting tweets from Kim Kardashian then you've got another thing coming. I would expect exactly what you described for that low fee.
The problem I see are clients that have expectations that aren't realistic. You should use LinkAloha for secondary links and nothing more.
I can't even recommend using them and have been saying that for years however the argument of value vs price is something that makes me laugh being in this community.
Think there's a "no refund" policy, which sucks.
