The great thing about No Hands SEO is the service after the sale. My installation wasnt working, Jim checked it, found the error, offered to try and fix the database -- now where the you know what do you get customer service like that anymore? Thanks man for a great tool but even more importantly -- your belief in customer service!

I can also vouch for the support, I was having proxy issues and twice Jim had a look via team viewer to see what he could sort out, he even made a de bug version! Pretty impressive

Jim,

I apologize if this has been mentioned somewhere in this thread. I have tried reading the whole thread over the last few days but admit I may have missed something. I have also been reading many other threads so I may have have gotten confused along the way :)

I want to use NHS and want to get to where I get the most out of it eventually without messing up my money site in the early stages while I work out the details of how to use this software. I have a few youtube videos and web 2.0's set up that point to my money site. Is it wise to point NHS at these 8-10 sites with my money site keywords and drop say 75-100 links on each a day over the next few days/weeks before I point NHS at my money site?

After reading much of the thread it appears it is okay to run the uploaded comments at backlinking sites but it might be wise to error on doing so at the money site. My thought process is that while these backlinks are building at my backlinking sites I can write quality custom comments for my money site and then slowly start with 10 and gradually increase the backlinks to my money site until I can run NHS all day on my money site a few days from now.

I hope this question isn't too confusing and again I apologize if this has been answered somewhere within this thread. As mentioned, I have tried to read through the whole thread but there is a bunch of info and I get confused sometimes. If this isn't a good idea please explain to me what may be a good plan of attack for someone new to seo and brand new to NHS.

Thanks

Its not confusing at all. Some people prefer to be very selective when getting backlinks direct to their money site. What you are proposing may be a good way to start off if you are concerned with sending too many links directly to your main money website.

Personally I have never had any problems with pointing links directly at my money site but I will always use lots of variation in my anchor texts and try to use relevant custom comments that are also heavily spun to create lots of variation in those. I try to think of it as preventing as many footprints as possible to prevent any potential future negativity and that has always helped me to see nothing but positive gains.

I have just released v2.12.18 and it should be available by the time you are reading this, or very shortly after:
* Added: Generics settings to example comment viewer
* Improved: Sections of posting code
* Fixed: Comment returning empty once it has passed through generics handler

Excellent software, the ease of use with this program is simply simple! Set it and forget it style that actually works! You can set this baby up and walk away from it, and when you come back, it wont be full of errors, from the moment you turned away, it will have been working the whole time and still be working when you get back!

Thank you for your continued great work! And for the BHW discount my friend! I Appreciate it!

I have to say guys that between the amazingly kind words posted in here and this thread I am just lost for words at the great things being said about No Hands SEO these days.

I have been working my tail off trying to get NHSEO up to the point where I always wanted it to be and it really feels like with all of the updates I have been releasing over the past months and the amount of support being put in place (full software documentation, written guides and video guides to go with email/forum/TeamViewer support) that it has all just come together. I have always believed in my product and I am just really happy that others are not just seeing the good in it but helping to spread the word as well, its a great feeling.

I know a lot of the posts quoted in this reply were thanks but I would like to add my thanks to all of my great customers. Its not always easy creating a product and supporting it, especially when most of it all happens in public but its times like this that I really relish my job and it is down to you guys.

THANKS

Thanks a bunch Jim. I trust your judgement but am obviously a bit paranoid because of some of the posts (albeit by people that aren't even using your system) saying my site could be banned. I'm very new to SEO and am not in any hurry to see results "right now."

I would rather learn the right way to do things and just thought if I goofed something up (not the software) that it might be best to goof up on some other site than my main one. I truly believe your software can work which is why I'm buying it and have been testing it. Like most things though I think there is a "good, better, and best" way to use this software. I have truly enjoyed all your updates and will continue reading your updates on this forum. I have learned as much from you in the week or so I have been reading these updates as I ever have in regards to seo. It is appreciated.

2 more questions if you do not mind... can I use too many variations of anchor text? I currently have 30. Also, is it a good idea to have the same keywords selected for searching as I have for the anchor text?

Thanks a bunch.

I know I"m probably driving you nuts but maybe your answers can help a few others as well.

What is the reason for the discrepancy between the search field and post field? In the default settings it is set as 15 searches compared to 1 post. If we have added additional proxies (like 20-25) we should be able to up the search field to like 30 -50 correct? After doing so is it good to put the post count then at 2,3,4? If not, is there a reason? Or, are we able to increase the post count then to more? Say 10? That search and post field just has me a little confused.

is there a proxy checker problem on last update?looks like 95% of my private proxies fail on NHSEO but all of the are ok with all other seo tools.

Hi Jim,

Did you know the profile wizard doesn't create profiles all the time? Just spent time making a profile, clicked 'create profile' and it is no where to be seen?

You can never have too many anchor texts really. Generally it isn't a good idea to just use the same keywords for anchor texts as search keywords because often you will want very specific keywords for anchor text whereas you will want far more vague search keywords. This is because generally you will want your anchor texts to be really targeted whereas your search keywords should be as vague as possible while still being relevant.

This is covered in more detail in the thread about Getting Started in the support forum and mentioned in more detail in the Add Profile Wizard video guide

I think you have your search threads and your posting threads the wrong way round. If you set your searching threads at 30-50 you will burn out any proxies you have and not be able to do any searching.

Posting threads can be set at anything your connection can handle and the amount of proxies is largely irrelevant to how many posting threads you use. If you are not using proxies do not change the searching threads from 1, if you are using proxies make sure you do not exceed 1 searching thread for every 5 proxies, so if you have 20 proxies 4 search threads would be the maximum you should use. I prefer to stick to more conservative search thread settings so it reduces the chance of any proxies getting burnt out but I would say 1 search thread per 5 proxies would be the limit.

There are no issues with the proxy checker, please check that the format of the proxies is correct.

Hi Jim,

Did you know the profile wizard doesn't create profiles all the time? Just spent time making a profile, clicked 'create profile' and it is no where to be seen?

When this happens the profile is already added it just doesn't show up in the profile list. I am not exactly sure why it happens and the fact it only happens 1 in 100 times is making it really hard to get it to replicate while I am debugging to see what is happening. All you need to do is restart the app and you will see the profile pop-up.

EDIT: Funnily enough the first time I debugged the issue of a profile not showing up in the profile list I was able to replicate the bug and have since fixed it. I will be uploading the update right away and it will be available within the hour.

I recently installed the trial version of No Hands Seo. At first it was creating backlinks but after I did a restart and re-started NHSEO it showed it was working in the log but it wasn't posting any backlinks. I left it on overnight it didn't create/post any backlinks it shows that it has not used up all the keywords.

Without going over all of the possibilities of what this could be the most common cause is bad proxy setup, if you are using public proxies that is your issue, if you are running more than 1 search thread per 5 proxies then they are burnt out and will need some time without being used before they will be usable for searching again. There are other possibilities such as setting your OBL/PR limits too strictly or if you are not using proxies and have a PR limit set that will prevent any posts from being made as Google will limit the amount of PR requests that can be done per IP address.

If it is not these things or I have not explained something very clearly then please post some more details that I will be able to get a better picture of what could be wrong with your setup. Things that will help to give me a better idea will be how many and what type of proxy you are using, how many search threads you are running with and whether you are using the OBL or PR limit and what they are set at.

There is also the chance (although small if you are getting 0 links over the course of a day) that the search keywords entered are too similar to each other or that they are too specific.

I'd be happy to advise anyway I can.

The settings I had where 3 searching treads and 160 posting threads 250 max outbound links and min pr of 3 I was also using the built in proxy scraper. I have changed that to 150 posting 400 max outbound link and min pr of 2 and 2 searching with working 12 proxy's. And it still won't post/create links I also tried to re install that also didn't work. I add around 20 keywords that didn't work either. All of the profiles have at least 15 keywords that I manually added.

The limits you have are on the high end and you are using public proxies, this is what will be really limiting what you are capable of doing. You could check that you are using the harvested proxies for searching and PR checking otherwise it will all be done via your own IP address and you won't even be getting any posts done let alone and successful posts or confirmed links.

I would suggest you to check the log and see what is happening, I would guess there will be a lot of "Added 0 targets" as a result of unsuccessful searches due to bad proxies and when searches are successful the posts that are made to those posts will likely be failing due to too many outbound links or too low PR.

I made quickest Backlinks :) and Very Safer and also Faster on SERP's :D

Thanks.

Hey guys Ive just posted a quick review of using nhs on my site. You can read it here

Awesome review, thanks for that.

i am getting when using NHSEO 60% + CPU usage and of course my pc crash every time.using 30 posting threads and 5 scraping threads on 80 MB/s internet connection,4Gb /RAM and I5 processor.i am using GSA on 100 threads and never get more than 9-10% CPU usage :(

what i should do fix this?

It's adding targets but for most of them it says page is down or post page url bad word. The limit's I would say are not on the high pr 2 and 400 OBL are on the lower side. I did have the proxy's search for PR check and searching. I did try to turn off all of the PR and OBL limit and the same thing happens nothing.

can you add a button on profile wizard comments tab to insert comments from file? copying few megs of comments can be painfull
