Am I ready to start web 2.0 link building

Hi guys,

Spent a few weeks now reading upon web 2.0 stuff, there is still somethings im not sure about such as wiki pages etc, but this is what i THINK i need to do so far.

Money Site:
Create x amount of good qualtiy articles to target keywords.
Example: I have 5 keywords. I write 1 article and optimise for each keyword.
On-page optimisation consists of:
This article should be 500 words +
Use of images & these images have image alt tags (say 2 images, one has the image alt tag as keyword, the 2nd image has the title as a phrase match variant of keyword)
Keyword density should be 2-4%
Meta title & description optimised to include keyword
H1 tag with keyword
Good written, quality article.

Web 2.0 Link Building To Money Site:
Create web2.0 accounts using a different email for each (when creating each new email and each new web 2.0 site, use a proxy server)
For example I am going to make 5 different web2.0 sites. 1 of these sties will link to 1 of the articles on my money site & the home page.
Create a combination of wordpress, squidoo, blogger, sites (if you could recommend me any good web 2.0 sites that would be great)
Create 1 quality article based on a related article to main site keyword article.
Create 5 "filler" content articles.
The main "quality" article will send 1 link to an authorative site, wikipedia, high PR news site, youtube, google.
The main "quality" article will send 1 link to my article on money site
The main "quality" article will send 1 link to my homepage money site (optional?)
Can buffer this up with 1-2 more "quality" articles if needs be.
Repeat this process for each web 2.0 site i build.

Link Building to web 2.0 sites:
Send ANY links to the web 2.0 quality articles
Social bookmarking - here is my list (Is there any GOOD ones im missing)

Then web 2.0 would make up just 1 part of my money site link building strategy. I would combine this with directory submissions, guest blogging, social bookmarking, forum posts. I've also been looking into .edu profile. What i gather is you make a profile on a .edu site. Put a link to your money site in there. Is that it?

Is there anything here im missing, or is that it?

Your plans look thorough but remember that the landscape of SEO is forever moving so the best thing to do is just get going now. You'll hit some out of the park and you'll make major mistakes too but that's all going to be an inevitable part of it!

Cool thanks, thats just what i needed haha. Ive actually got my site up and 1 of my pages is ranking well for 2-3 very similar related keywords. Im now wanting to expand, as such ive been reading a ton the past few weeks.

I keep finding "1 more guide" or "ill read this before i start". But I think i have a decent understanding of it now, so jut wanted to clarify it. Ill start with this and then worry about edu profiles, link wheels and wiki stuff after ive actually done something. Otherwise ill just always be reading and never be making a nickle!

1. For web 2.0 and bookmark sites there are many smart software available out there which can help you automatize the whole process and you save time and man power both. I personally prefer to use seo tools why so because except a few things they just work normal and if you use them properly provides many time decent results too.

2. Yes Tier 2 links are required which must be linking to tier1 but i will recommend you stay away with any scrapbox comment blast / profile links at tier2 instead if you want to use it then use it on tier3 one more level back from your money site to make more safety.

3. EDU Profile links i do see lots people say take edu link they are authority blah blah... I personally to believe in taking edu authority links but contextual links such as edu wiki site link or edu blogs of WPMU or similar many edu sites permit you to signup and create your own blog

4. Directory submission - Most are deindexed already by google or they are still working on deindexing more these were actually cheap directories full of spam so google may be having no choice other than doing them out of the index.... Anyways if you can check DA - Domain Authority 40+ Google having 3000+ indexed and PR of homepage atleast 1 or 2 + that web directory may be can help you still... Nobody deny you for this i believe but if you go ahead and use a software to do directory submission may be you cause problem for yourself by having your links placed on high amount of deindexed domains.

I have seen google read and crawl deindexed domains to check the spam flood they are smart they are...

Be careful with keyword density on your money site. 4% density means you mention your keyword 4 times for every 100 words. A 500 word article will mention your keyword 20 times which not only looks spammy but could raise a flag and get a penalty. Use your keywords naturally in your content along with LSI keywords and google will figure out what to rank you for. Plus you will likely catch some longtail traffic as well.

Don't go too fast with your link building. Too much too soon might rank you faster but could also cause it to come crashing down just as fast. And don't forget to diversify your anchor text on the inbound links to your money site.

IF you are going to buy software read this TUT by MW, since you are looking for quality then I would suggest going through this process of superspinning your content, this generally puts out readable articles that are all different and of pretty good quality, it is not a cheap spin.

Also, in terms of software, I have not heard of GSA.

I have access to OSE, and use that regularly. I was thinking about purchasing scrapebox. I would use it to automate links to tier 2/tier 3,but would also use it for finding keywords, finding guest blog comment opprotunities.

Other than blog comment link automation, does scrapebox offer any other automated linking features, or would I need something like the aforementioned GSA?

Im not in "NEED" of automating things, however with what im planning on doing (my original post) is it generally accepted that parts of this process are automated? Or would it all be done manually. My thoughts are if its done manually, i would maybe build at most, say 2-3 dozen links to 1 site a day. Is this enough, or do i need hundreds of links a day. Ive read that post penguin, link velocity should be less than 75 links a day, any more and google will ignore them. Not sure what the truth behind this is however.

A question about PR. Will I still receive a strong level of link juice from a web2.0 page that has a PR of 0. Obviously if i open a blogger or wordpress it will have a PR 0. Am i getting the link juice because it is hosted on the wordpress/blogger, so the PR isn't a concern here. I have a feeling this is a really dumb question, but would just like the clarification. My action plan for today - finish an article relating to one of my money keywords. Complete onpage SEO for that term. Create 1 web2.0 site (likely a blogger or wordpress) and write 1 quality article, along with some of the filler content.

Productive enough, or should i also focus on building links back to the web2.0 today? I wont be putting in the link to my money site until maybe a week or so (i've read not to put links into your money site straight away)

I was trying to find that link because it is truly a great share. OP follow that link above and also click Matthews 3rd signature link... "How to rank any website in Google".

As for buying software. A good spinner as mentioned in the link above would probably be your best first investment. Creating profiles on web 2.0's and such is really only a matter of a few mouse clicks and some copy and paste with a few tweaks. Creating unique readable content takes time but doing it manually takes forever and can burn you out very quickly.

As you build your online business you can look into other software to automate the process but for now you have to consider the learning curve on using it. Once you can consistently rank websites manually you will better understand how to use software to speed up the process.

As far as web 2.0 stuff goes I'd advise magic submitter, if that's what you're looking for. There are a few other options in that department as well.
GSA is pretty dang simple to use, the tool is basically set & forget + with GSA Captcha Breaker its the ultimate set & forget tool. In fact you could probably just use it for your sites, but if you want the standard results the plan you have is a good one.

80% of the settings in GSA is for more "advanced" stuff. To get it to work, you just need to tweak 20% of the settings like min PR, anchor text % & no.of OBL on page.

For advanced users, I would choose Sick Marketing

If I've learned anything about seo then it's all about just doing it. No matter how much changes the internet isn't going anywhere and regardless of a methods success or failure you always take away knowledge from it.

So don't get if things don't work out right away OP, it took me a few shots at getting into it but when it "clicks" it's all downhill from there

I will recommend stay away for comment links on tier 2 and keep them at tier3 for eg. if you like to have it. OSE - Open Site Explorer it will be very costly i think 97 or 100 USD a month if you buy their paid subscription so its upto.

Regarding manual blog commenting that is even still good idea for money site if you find niche blog comments. There is somewhere some thread as well which can help you to buy Scrapebox if you want at very cheap price. I think no, but you can find some good site lists scrapped for submission or for eg you can try it to use scrapebox for guest post opportunities etc sort of high quality work too with good footprints

I dont think that its a new rule of 75 links a day. But yes it is good idea to keep link building continued.

If you create some good tier 2 and tier3 links for such tier1 wordpres/blogger links then they will surely pass good link juice why not

Going to look into GSA more now. The OSE is paid by company, so i basically get free access to it.

Is there a "best" web 2.0 to start with? Bloggers, Wordpress, something else? Also, in regards to my previous question, does it matter if the PR of my web 2.0 site is a 0? Will i still get good link juice as its hosted on wordpress/blogger etc?
