I'm comparing the index check results between IBM 4 Full Version and Scrapebox

Check 4K backlinks and scrapebox always gets more results, 100+ links difference. Ran the results 2 times, a couple of days difference. Why the results are so much different? Interesting.

Bought the software and loving it so far!

Well, I tried the trial version and I'm not so surprised about this tool, I mean it's alright BUT:

1.Checking the indexing rate is plain slow (it hangs)
2.Checking PR is slow for me again (it hangs)
3.From 37 URL's, it missed 2 ( all 37 are high quality unique/high pr web 2.0's) <--- I wouldn't want to delete a property that costs 3-7$ for me... so going by average, I just lost 10$ because the backlink monitor couldn't fetch the link on the page. (I manually checked it and it was ok).

The rest are ok:

********/nofollow feature is nice
status/obl/anchor text/ip addresses/reports.

Overall note:
8/10 <- it actually misses some links when it checks them (scrapebox successfully parsed them).

Note that checking indexing and PR is as fast or as slow as you set it just like Scrapebox, also just like Scrapebox the speed you can do it at will depend on the amount of proxies you use if any.

For the ones you said BLM missed can you send the details of this to support? Thanks

Well, I would really buy it if I was 100% sure that it doesn't misses any backlinks if they are available.

I re-tested the trial, playing with the settings but I still get "backlinks not found", when they are on the actual page.

In the analysis tab, I even checked to parse "all backlinks"
Crawler settings: played even with 1
Played with processed links
Added other root url's, to be sure that it parses them

TWIST:

I took all the "no backlink pages" and set the crawler to 1 to check them individually.

The results are the same.

I took every page

I would really buy a software like this but the crawler needs to be improved because you can really waste efforts with losing important backlinks.

I really built those properties and some have a nice PR and will stick for like forever (or until the host shuts down) so it would be a waste of time and money to lose those backlinks.

Other features work well.

I would buy the software if the crawler will get fixed...

@zerocoolflo I just scraped some blogs from those properties and checked the links through BLM and the links are getting picked up fine. Perhaps you have something set up wrong, if you'd like send a SS to me and I will take a look.

should I create 2 different project or can I add these 2 urls together in "Links to"?

OK I figured it out myself by downloading the free trial. But I found another problem about index check, the link I tested is actually indexed but BM reported that it's not?

Take a look in the advance setting and found out that the problem is the google string BM using, "info:". I then do a test myself and realize that when I check my link manually with the string "site:MYURL" google result show that the link is indexed (I can even view the cache version from there) but when I check it using "info:MYURL" google will return "Sorry, no information is available for the URL"?

What made such difference actually? Is the link carry any SEO value in this case?

I have come across this before. Where a site is showing as indexed for site: but not for info:

What happened in this case was the site was in the process of being de-indexed by Google. So this could well be the same case and I would get your link removed.
