Common sense would dictate that I really won't share my niche anywhere.
Well, I would really buy it if I was 100% sure that it doesn't misses any backlinks if they are available.
I re-tested the trial, playing with the settings but I still get "backlinks not found", when they are on the actual page.
In the analysis tab, I even checked to parse "all backlinks"
Crawler settings: played even with 1
Played with processed links
Added other root url's, to be sure that it parses them
TWIST:
I took all the "no backlink pages" and set the crawler to 1 to check them individually.
The results are the same.
I took every page
I would really buy a software like this but the crawler needs to be improved because you can really waste efforts with losing important backlinks.
I really built those properties and some have a nice PR and will stick for like forever (or until the host shuts down) so it would be a waste of time and money to lose those backlinks.
Web 2.0's that showed: "no backlinks:
overblog.com
journalspace.com
bravesites.com
doomby.com
blinkweb.com
beep.com
journalspace.com
blog.fc2.com
http://www.purevolume.com
sosblogs.com
http://en.netlog.com
tripod.com
http://blog.newhind.com
END RESULTS:
From 49 web 2.0's selected
15 were "No backlink", when the actual backlink was there (checked them manually). <-FALSE, needs improvement
2 were "page error" <- TRUE
Do Follow/No Follow works <- TRUE
Indexing/PR check <- SLOWER than scrapebox (actually.. really slow), needs improvement
Other features work well.
I would buy the software if the crawler will get fixed...
