Tips on how to increase CTR on my website

Hi.

I am running my website about redheads @ http://redheadsrule.me and I have noticed that I have a very low CTR, about 0.25 % on average. I had one peak day about 2 months ago, when I hit 1.5 % CTR and made about $150. But since then I have never had this high CTR again. Can someone help me on how to place my ads, choose different positions/sizes etc.?
It may be caused by a fact, that there's not much text on the website so no relevant ads are displayed.

Take a look at it. Any help will be appreciated!

EDIT: I have also a Facebook page with redheads, any tips on how to drive traffic to this website beside just posting links to its content? Page has 200k fans.

Anyways its better you to chose something good theme layout or design a new layout.
make sure you use 3 placements per each page i.e adsense placements.
make sure you use something better host or tech host to cope up your site as fast as possible.
lastly write some content for each girl you host them so that people will stay on your blog which will increase your ctr to some high positions.

See mate read perfectly what i had said dont say your personal site things if you have nything already then np but i cant estimate your personal issues under my consideration.

On home page placement of add is good but you can use image add instead of text so people get confused it as another image and thr is a possibility of getting clicked. On inner pages try to place your add between random post and highest rated. Limit your post count on home page it will make your visitor click to see further. Also remove that "Statistics" column.

I want to create profiles with famous redheads, is it problem for AdSense if I copy their bio on my website? I don't want to get banned for duplicate content or such thing. If so, is it enough if I re-create the text with my own words?

First of all, AdSense is not the best way to monetize this type of site. It's primarily a picture site, so Google doesn't know what the fuck to serve, in terms of ads. There are no advertisers supplying redheads. This is one reason why your CTR is shit, no ads are relevant. So even if you increased the amount of ads on the site and put them in better places, you couldn't really hope for a good CTR anyway and you'll still make peanuts.

You should rather run some CPA dating ads, ideally related to redheads. Remember, your audience consists primarily of horny guys, who are into hot redheads. So give them something to buy that's related to their interest. Hell, even sending them off to a redhead pornsite could do well. How much traffic do you have?

If you put adult ads and banners on your site, you are risking your adsense account. Mild dating sites probably would pass, but anything more than that can get your adsense account disabled.
