Best, cheap holiday suggestions?

Thinking of going on holiday for a long needed rest.. will be with the family (4 people in total).

Any suggestions? I'd be going to Canada for a week and therefore will only have time to go to this other place
for about 4 or so days.

Where would you go for 4 days and have the best time of your lives, considering that
it is for the whole family and not just for yourself?

I'm looking for a place preferable in Europe where there's lots to do (the family consists of 2 children),
and also has to be quite cheap at the same time as my costs of spending time in Canada
are already extremely high!

Where ever ryanair or easy jet have mega discount flights.

If I had a choice the Algarve is always great and usually pretty good value

Where abouts in Canada are you going? I've always wanted to visit BC.

Also, if you are departing from UK. Amsterdam is always cheap for the weekend. Barcelona or Milan can be very cheap too.

Toronto.

I am taking my Mother, and my 2 brothers - so Id probably want to go where they can enjoy themselves whether its a water park, or some other fun place.

Since you are with family I suggest Cyprus, It's very beautiful, and it's not expensive at all.

Malorka is good also but it would be a pain in the ass to fly from Canada and after 4 days fly back (if you're in North America). I heard that Mexico is good though wasn't there.

Take a meditereanian cruise from a company like Costa, it would cost less $1300 for a family of 4 . And you get to see most of southern Europe in style and all inclusive. Did it last month and i would again in a heart beat...

Croatia is very nice I went on holiday there several years ago. Doubt it's too cheap now though ?

Croatia is sooooo beautiful and relatively cheap compared to other european destinations, Bulgaria is good and cheap aswell, my personal fav destination is Tunisia, its not in europe but its just as good and only 2h boat journey from Cicily (italy).

While you're in Canada make sure to visit Prince Edward's island. There's lots of kid-friendly activities there and if you or anyone in your family have read 'Anne of Green Gables' you'll love it especially.

Yep, it is, but at the moment, that's all the time I have as I will be spending most my time as said, in Canada

I could probably extend it to 5 but no more than that as my costs are already quite high for Canada.

Croatia is very nice I went on holiday there several years ago. Doubt it's too cheap now though ?

Its still cheap... in the peak of the season at the coast: Beer: 3$, Lunch: 10-15$, Room 30-50$ per night, if you buy stuff in the market and cook your own food its 3 times cheaper.

I have bunch of friends from USA and UK coming to Croatia and they say its really hard to spend much money there. lol

Anyways, wherever you go OP, make sure you have awesome time with your fam
