First post here. Thanks for the method, OP. Finally I've found something that seems worthy of investing some time and money into.

Instead of focusing on one specific line of products, I decided to set up a website with a very general name, so hopefully I can divide the site into various categories with different niches. This may not get as much traffic as a dedicated site, but at least I can try other niches without buying more domains. Anyway, I guess time will tell.

Well, I have to say that this thread was pretty useful. First time I actually wanted to get serious about IM was ever since I read it. So far it hasn't been very great. Though the site I made has only been operational a day and had some hiccups since I'm pretty green when it comes to all of this. I did get 3 hops though lol. Will be spending the next few days tightening up since as I said this is all very new and foreign. Thanks much OP.

Posted in this thread quite a while ago, but figured I'd throw this up for any motivation or doubts that people may have.



I know it's not much, but I'll explain the situation more. This is all from one site with about 4-5 reviews of related products. I built the site in the middle of December 2011, and promoted it til around the end of January 2012. All I did promotion wise was sign up for niche relevant forums and added the link in my signature. Attempted to provide value posts and help people out as much as I could with their questions, although I didn't have much knowledge or interest even in the niche. I'm still even earning from the site although I no longer even have it that one of the products I promoted was a monthly subscription.

Some personal stuff went on and I had to focus more on the daily grind instead of continuing with IM. I'm just getting back into it that I'm back to working part time and need to supplement my income. Will probably be attempting this method again either with Clickbank or Amazon (same basic review concept).

This was my first attempt at internet marketing, so I was definitely just a newbie when I started it.

easy to do but time-consuming adding all those posts to relevant forums, the post must be relevant and the forum must allow signatures - software can automate this
