Accounts don't get banned, but they will ban IP for life time if bot activity is found, i think 10-30 pins per hour is not a problem
I usually use HMA + Pinpioneer to be on the safer side
@Rickstar

Does Pinterest sees that we are using a bot to pin stuff? Does it show IE as a browser to them?

If PinPioneer is pinning 10-30 pins per hour but I am concerned that Pinterest can see that it's a bot and get an account banned.

In my experience, you can go pretty hogwild with pinning without worry of being banned, although I wouldn't recommend going crazy with a completely fresh account. When I first started using PP I was only pinning with my "main" account for one of my sites, and was (rather foolishly, in retrospect) pinning with a delay of something like 8-15 seconds, meaning 300+ pins per hour. Never had any problems.

Now I pin with a 1.5 - 3 minute delay to avoid annoying my followers

Is this Pinpioneer software is having problem right now on pinning stuff? I could not even pin images on my pinterest account. Anyone here had the same problem?

I know it is working fine, just wondering if Pinterest see that PinPioneer is a bot or not. If it uses IE as a browser that they can't really tell if it's a bot or not but if it shows some weird browser then it might be a problem for a quality account.

Hey guys,

We are getting the update ready to be released with in the next 12 hours (hopefully sooner!). Apologize for the delay and appreciate everyone hanging in there!

@Russian-Czar

Should not be an issue as long as you are staying within Pinterests parameters. We designed the application to mimic normal behavior which is why there are limitations to what PinPioneer can do on an automatic scale.

Actually new accounts would be set to " read-only" mode if too many photos pined. I have tried to pin several hundreds of photos a time and then get the message that accounts come to read only mode.

That's Ok! Keep up your words, been waiting long now.

I had this problem only with "young" accounts, and actually not from pinning too much - I seemed to be able to pin as much as I wanted, but what did me in was logging in from my home IP and then pinning with PP through a proxy. I figure the two different IPs + hotmail email + age of the account must have tripped something.

That being said, I have several accounts now that are very filled out, both with hotmails and gmails, and I can log into them from my IP/through proxies/pin as much as I want/etc without any problems. Just take it slow in the beginning and be patient; it's worth it in the long run. No point in being stupid and going crazy only to end up having accounts banned/flagged and wasting all that work and time.

Are there more people with problems of following people? I tried to follow people with one of the accounts I got when buying Pinpioneer and the followers are not added to my account although it seems everything is working. Using HMA and 100% sure login/pass are correct.

We need to be patient guys.

I would personally prefer that rikstar takes his time and releases an update which solves lots of problems or add features.

Than releasing lots of updates in a short space of time that only fixes one thing at a time.

From the pop up message in Pinpioneer!

We haven?t forgotten about you! Still working relentlessly to release this new update, but Pinterest has been difficult all the way through. When we return, (or even now) I promise you will all get free licenses (which you can later sell if you want). Doing everything we can to be back up within 24 hours.

Appreciate your patience everyone, and as stated in the pinpioneer message, we will be giving everyone free additional license to use for themselves, a friend, or sell due to the nature of the delay. We will be getting the update out to you very shortly!
