Without great workout regimes AND hitting your macro (and micro) nutrients, you will not get the best results. It was never 40-60, 50-50, 30-70, it has always been and always will be workout AND diet. It's not an option. You cannot choose either one.
That kind of diet "might" work, but the question is WHY? Why only limit carbs sources from veggies? Why not build a diet that you can enjoy? Do you even track your macros?
Im not saying you dont need a good workout, Im just saying all the hard work is done in the kitchen with a proper diet you will build more muscle, anyone can go to gym and do a workout but not everyone can stick to a strict diet. By limiting your carbs you are training your body to start utilizing fats as a source of fuel therefore you will gain a leaner body, too much carbs are just gonna make you gain fat.
