hey BB, I ordered 10k reffer views some days ago and asked you to split them between 2 videos

the first one has a duration of 83 seconds, here are my stats:

Traffic source Google
Views 5092
Estimated minutes watched 3050
Average views duration 0:35


2nd video 90 seconds:

Traffic source Google
Views 5401
Estimated minutes watched 3315
Average views duration 0:36

not all views are from your service but there should be ~5000 on each, lets say the rest of the views have 0 second retention:

1st video: 3050/5000*100=61% retention if the video was 60 seconds which means an average of 0:36 sec/view which in reality is lower because i did not count the other 92 views.

I don't know if this only applied to me or this is the quality of the views in general. I was going to use this service regularly but now i have doubts. Can you please give me an explanation?

Hi vlad, the views which we are sending are rel views, where we cant engage the visitors to retain in any video for long time. so I am changing my views service to just referrer views and not retention views.

100% retention can be achievable in mobile views, but its not real views.

so we decided to stick with referrer views instead mobile views, considering our views are quality one.

Why do you advertise them as Referer "Retention" Views then? Can't you edit your original post if you changed your offers?

Anyway what is the difference between normal views and retention views in terms of ranking? Where do the normal views show in the YouTube Analytics?

Its still retention views, but not 100% retention for any duration.

Normal views are just hits. We cant speak about or guarantee rankings as we are just views providers. Normal views will be showed in your statistics.
