Hi, just wondering what software you guys use for your seo and backlinking. Thinking of getting scrapebox when i get paid, is it any good?

If you want to harvest websites for link building go for scrapebox.
If you want to do one page go for SEO Powesuite.
and traffic travis is also nice option.

Getting ranked on search engines do not depend on SEO software, it depends on your SEO strategy. These software will help you in implementing the strategy. So layout a strategy first, then check which software will be best for your strategy. Check reviews and get the trails if available. Test it for yourself, you will be the best reviewer for yourself. Then take a decision.

Personally, I find scrapebox great and I will use SEnuke, and some custom built bots with ubot

Finally, Having a strategy and great custom list of websites for link building, software to implement your strategy are the ones you need to rank a website

I agree with raghav, when i started out, i thought that if i had the right software, i could just plug in my site and go. But now that i'm a little wiser i realize that having a good strategy is more important and the software is just a way to save time.

First i would look on here for some good popular SEO strategy's. A real simple solution is: Money Page <--- Tier 1 <---Tier 2 <---Tier 3.

With tier 1 pages being created manually, stuff like Squidoo, Weebly, etc. Manually write an article, add a picture, embed a video and 1 or 2 links to your Money Page.

Then with tier 2 and 3 you can start using programs. I really like GSA Search Engine Ranker as my tier 2. It takes a bit to figure out everything but there's some guides and videos here. Have GSA set to only create "good" links to your tier 1.

Then i would suggest getting Scrapebox. Use it to create thousands of tier 3's pointing to the tier 2 links you created with GSA. You can also use scrapebox, filter out the 20 best blogs and make manual comments pointing directly to your Money site.

Good Luck,
Dave

I need to get my head around scrapebox, I liked the bit about scraping for the 20 best blogs and manually commenting, nice... I hand maintain a very small tier 1 also, all unique contant.

If I were starting off and wasn't sure what tool to buy, I'd try the search function to the left hand side there.

I'm sure programs like Senuke and Magic Submitter are really great, but i'm just not to the point yet where i'm going to pay monthly fees for a program. Right now SEO is just a hobby.

But scrapebox is great, it's only $50 and does tons of stuff. GSA is also only $80 and it's constantly improving.

Another thing you could look at is iMacros. A free add-on to firefox. It's a super easy way to make your own "program" to automate things. For example i spent about a day making a script for Pinterest, it will repost, edit the link, like and follow 500 times per day. And i don't have any coding skills.

Yeah I use Scrapebox pretty much daily and love it for a variety of different tasks such that simply speed up manual process that I would normally do such as harvesting keywords, links, checking PR, checking for low obl links, rank checking, and the list goes on. As for "SEO tools" I use my brain, experience, my hands, and knowledge. Those are simply the best SEO tools that money can't buy :D

Dont buy anything until you can answer your own questions, not being sarcastic.

That's a great answer. I fished around for ages and got nowhere, then I started buying the ones that looked good and had a one off license and started to use them. Using the software and communicating in the relevant forums taught me a lot, not that I know anything now...

the best spinner, gsa, scrapebox mostly they are worth it by far.

We all have own preferred ones but if you are new, you should try the top rated ones to see if you like them, start with SEnuke Xcr, UD, .. at the end of the day, dont forget its just a tool, and rust depends on the user and how good using it...

DO you actually own them? must have cost you a lot...
I use these all the time:

scrapebox
senukexcr
Ultimate Demon
Proxy Goblin
Friend Bomber
Sic Agent (new-I used to use nohands but sic is better so far)

lots you can use. I highly appreciate jhakasseo's idea. I want to contribute to you for some: Magic Submitter ,Scrapebox,Article Marketing Robot.
