It is just insane. They seem to penalize sites that used datafeeds (product description from merchant sites).
For example: http://www.sublimefirearms.com/american-shooters-edge-the-shooters-approach-to-practice/
Does anybody sees what is wrong with this site. Why is it spam?
If Google consider using datafeed spam, then we probably have grounds to sue them for damages (slander).

This is nonsense. Yes, there are a fair few pharma and payday shitty looking sites in there, but there are also personal blogs and sites that don't seem to be in any way 'spammy'.
Just goes to show how fucky googles algo's really are.

I assume because it's just an affiliate site. When you click the "Buy Now" button it redirects you to an affiliate link. There's also next to no unique content on that page.

The most merchants actually provide a data feed, for their affiliates to build sites. So penalizing such sites doesn't make any sense. There is nothing bad about such sites except they are affiliate sites.

However, I'm not sure How does Google finds these sites.
These could be possible reasons
Is that footprint required by Amazon ?

- Direct affiliate links.

- Badly Spun content.
- This footprint CERTAIN CONTENT THAT APPEARS ON THIS SITE COMES FROM AMAZON SERVICES LLC. THIS CONTENT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE OR REMOVAL AT ANY TIME.
Is that footprint required by Amazon ?

The site has two adsense ads per page and although its backlink profile is pretty poor it still ranks highly for the term 'harshad numbers', somewhere near the top of page two from what I can see. It definitely hasn't been 'removed from appearing in search results' as the page claims.

Some of the sites are garbage, but i saw 2 non amazon affiliates removed -- still trying to figure out why. It would have to be limited content, just the products and descriptions. anyone have any idea why this site is bad?
