I just used the gigs to get more followers, its best if you have a picture related to the page and then post the page link with the picture.

UPDATE: my post "name a game that does not have the letter "a" in it" has really slowed down now, got just over 40,000 comments. maybe 2 days is the length of time before the posts start to lose momentum?

I posted another picture yesterday and the results are good for only 1 day :)

I think if I continue to post pictures like this I could generate a steady amount of new likes, currently getting about 1K new likes a day (only using these pictures to promote the page)

thanks again G-S-T for this awesome post!

EDIT: I think maybe adding "I bet you can't ;)" at the end of the picture you would get more comments because you are insulting people's intelligence

interesting, this opens new doors to marketing ideas for me, thanks for the share.

Among the oldest tricks in the book (IRC anyone?), but it's still very neat. :) You engage your current audience to gain even more audience.

Thanks for this guys, working nice, 30 comments after 14 minutes :)

Thanks for the tips!

Just need to go create a page and get some likes to begin with so will look for how to do that as well as order some fiverr gigs!

I think the most challenging likes to get are the ones from specific ethnic groups

The hardest part is getting a decent fan page/base to begin with. Unless you have an ad budget!

Why didnt I think of this?? You guys are the best.. I'll try this on my fanpages asap

cater to the very short attention spam of today's internet users.
not many people read or think anymore so it is what it is....

Hmm i had good start, but my question was probably too hard so only like 100 comments, but its good inspiration for me.

I tried it . . . it was too specific, not a lot of people responded, but great idea!

If you have a facebook page, you will know that its very important to keep it active with quality content and only post marketing material every once in a while.

Most of the time I use meme's, but lately I have been going down a different route and asking users simple trivia questions.

The key is to choose a question with lots of possible answers, here are a couple of examples of how to go at this.

Anything that requires more than 1 second to process an answer is pointless.

Cool. Awesome Method . i will try it for Sure , Thanks for Sharing with us !
