Here we go again..

Seems to me that there's two types of people in this forum..

1. People with the posting shits who just type any old crap to get their post count up. Then they pretend that they are experienced Blackhatters because they have a shit load of posts.

2. People who think before they type and post only when they've got something positive to say or contribute. These are the people who can't spare too much time on forums cos they're actually making money using BH techniques.

The problem is that the Noobs seem to be paying attention to the wrong people!

And nobody is a n00b here, so you shouldnt call anybody n00bz, a noob is an annoying person, if someone wants to learn they deserve props, not the real n00bz who always annoy. I agree with you the ammount of posts says nothing about someone.
So beside your membership status we could have something new (just thinking out loud).

Why don't the mods put something in there.
Say you are good with Adwords and Adsense and you could really help people with that.
Put it in there and everyone knows what you can do. Behind every experience there could be a rep button.

So behind Adwords a rep button and behind Adsense too.
When people like your idea or help they will rep you.
You can even make it so that the person advances from advanced to expert etc.

When the reps fall below a certain point, let's say Adwords, that will be taken away after his name. So the system keeps updating itself and you know if a person is legit or not.

There is noone here that can know it all, simple.
But with something like this people know where to turn to and know who to trust.

Like this or not, have a better idea?

With the post approval process the number of posts should mean something, since they try to not let crap get through.

I like the idea of the 'good at' feature. Maybe add icons by the digg and furl incons. The problem is then that you have to be able to prove that you are good at it. Or make it a services offered icon set. This way you can offer ads3ns3 services, but, if you goof it up the other members can slam you for being a POS. Get labelled a POS enough, once?, and you can get run out of BHW.

3. The "Polluter" - Someone who is hell bent on spoiling proper discussion by adding totally meaningless gibberish and pretending to take the high ground by defending non-existent victims. They are often referred to as forum trolls and whiners.
