On a serious note, what would be of much interest is the video card of a computer, copy/pasting the specs from my computer will only give you the processor and ram memory info.
I actually have an amd 64x2 5000+ 2,6 ghz with 5gb of ram, win 7 64 bit, with geforce 7300gt. Both my processor and video card would not help me much with games, but are perfect for IM.
For serious gaming you'll need at least a phenom II x4 processor with a video card built on 256 bit and with gddr5 memory. Like the geforce gtx 460.

Bought 3 years ago, don't even want to get a new one, it's more than enough for skype + mozilla, for SEO softwares I have a VPS with i7.
If you want to purchase PC for gaming, focus on Video Card and buy SDD instead of HDD.
If you want a really fast PC go with i7, it's definitely the best thing I've seen, unbelievably fast.

Just got the new razer ouroboros mouse and I also have the black widow ultimate keyboard.
steelseries 7.1 USB headphones
it actually wasn't overly expensive to set up and laughs at games and work. Never been able to get the processor over 60% usage.

Phenom X4, 8GB Ram,2 TB HD ,2gb DDR5 HIS video,ASUS Mobo,Lian Li Case,BluRay Burner.....shopped around and altogether was 400 bucks, beast ass machine it is sick what you can get for so little these days.

damn I like your keyboard and mouse and there are 5 screens facing you.. do you have gaming eyewere ? because looking at those image I think I can only last 3 hours because its too bright

How much did it cost you to build that because I am thinking of getting a new PC and I was thinking alienware but it is too much for me at the moment and I think that building it yourself is a little cheaper.

I figured if I'm going to be using them all day I should probably just invest in some nice stuff. The mechanical keyboard is so worth it! It cost around $150 and it's the razer black widow ultimate (the ultimate has backlit keys). Don't get the stealth version - the clicking on this keyboard is so satisfying haha.thanks for the effort
The mouse was just released a couple weeks ago by razer and it is not cheap. I paid $129 + $30 shipping + $30 COD but it came with a razer laptop bag as well that I love.
Assuming you have keyboard, mouse and monitors figured out you can probably get all these parts today for under $2000. If I recall correctly I got everything including monitor ($250) and keyboard ($150) for $3000 (Canadian Dollars) close to 6 months ago. Everything is much cheaper now
.I definitely recommend building the computer yourself. Alienware computers are nice but they are very expensive. Building it yourself is also a fun project - my buddy and I made a weekend of it right before diablo 3 was released.

And yeah my eyes are taking a beating because I work all day at the computer and play lots of games there too. I briefly considered getting some gaming eyeware. I'm not sure if it will reduce the strain on my eyes while doing just normal work though.thanks for the effort

Yeah better to build it myself but it would take some time as I don't know how to build one at all. I would get someone to build it for me. Hopefully next year I will build mine.
