Hey guys! At the moment i'm set out to try new things and find new ways to make money online apart from my steady stream of income. So far i have had some success with Gigbucks + Scrapebox as well as with iframing my adsense code which basically got me $130 in one day. Not sure if im gonna continue with that one though since its VERY blackhat and you're basically a scammer doing it.

Anyway, i have read a bit about CPA + Youtube methods and set out to try it for myself. Chose the "watch movies online" niche, made 4 promotional videos and uploaded them with my cloaked CPA in the description. After 24 hrs my 1st video had roughly 250 views of which 102 clicked on the cloaked link and of those 102 just 2 completed a survey.

The low conversion rate was a bit of a shock since the viewer himself chooses to watch my vid, thus, highly targeted.

How do you maximize conversions on your CPAs?

Thanks

No fail at all! The converting part is your duty, optimize your sites/gateways better, make them BELIEVE they are going to GET what they are looking for and upload WAY MORE vids.

What kind of offer was that? Do you have a landing page? If so, have you configured a redirection script because I imagine your traffic comes from different countries.

Anyway, there's no way I could call your method a fail since you already got 2 conversions in 24 hours. It's just that you have to master the technique to increase CR and what not.

Thanks for your replies!

I dont have a landing page at all, what i did was register a .tk domain and forward it directly to the CPA offer. Then in the description i wrote something in the lines of *Help us keep our hosting costs down by completing a short survey*

I kinda have this habit of not making rocket surgery :) out of things but it seems like i will have to do more with this than just upload a sh*tload of videos.

So when they click the link in order to watch the movie all they see is a CPA offer instead of a real movie?

$2 (I assume you're getting around $1 a conversion) off your first video in 24 hours is fucking sweet. Now you just need more videos... If you had 250 videos doing that then you'd be balling.

CPA offers are not necessarily the best for Youtube because YT is very international traffic. If you are going the CPA route, you will have to geotarget your traffic somehow (either a content locker that geotargets or your own script) and send every country to an offer that you have a chance of getting paid on.

Also telling anyone to help you out is a shitty way of getting them to click and convert... You have to offer them something that appeals to their own self interest.

Yes, they see.

"THIS CONTENT IS LOCKED, to view the content please complete one of the three short surveys below"

That is one sound common sense check right there! Thanks a lot!

I'll work on producing more videos which is a breeze to do with animoto. Shame you cant upload it directly to youtube from them but hey.... screen recorders are the sh*t :)

P.S. SB Blasting Youtube videos seems to be working because google wont santbox their own pages i suppose! :)

From my experience I always had more success with forcing people to complete something for their OWN good than asking them for any HELP. Optimize your gateways to force them instead of asking for their help :)

Play the first few minutes of the movie first to get them hooked, then freeze with content lock.

what? 102 visitors and 2 converted? which part of this is a fail????

MasterMagician, good thread, subscribed!
Could I ask you, which CPA network do you use for completing surveys?

Thank you

It kinda felt like a fail because of the small number of converts out of 102 link-clickers... kinda still does but i suppose not as much as before :) I'll try to upload 15 vids per day starting today and see where that takes me.

Something funny i noticed...the first convert made me $.72 and the second one $.14 that can't be right....right?

Thank you! I have applied to Infinity but until then im using the content locker from Bee4Biz although their payout sure seems to vary per completed survey. Could have been that i missed something there though.

Today: 133 clicks on CPA link, 3 converts, $1.15 --- Id be happier if it was around $3 so definitley switching CPA networks!

It's fine mate. I am doing it , uploaded 30 videos, and getting leads eevry 3 or 4 days.. Too slow internet for it, and VPS is lagging too with my net :(

This is not a fail at all. Just get with a better network and scale this thing up.

Its good equation, & its not fail as per my experience, Its good - But you need quality video and make video backlinks
I can make youtube video on top position on G & youtube both

I got something similar going on with Leadbolt and it really pisses me off lol... one day I had 6 converts and only made 1.95 Cents.... I have purchased content locker pro but it won't work with my hosting... I also tried CPAInfinity but all i got was clicks and NO converts AT ALLL....

Keep AT It .... You On Tha Right Path!

Hello mate, I have tried Youtube + CPA on my side without any success, so I love to read that you had some conversions :)

(I must admit that I quickly tried that without placing too many efforts, so probably that is the reason of my fail)

Anyway, did you follow any guide/tutorial and/or did you do that by following your own method(s)? Would you mind to share?
