I've read a lot of methods and from what I've read, you either has to sell something or send all that traffic to another site to monetize off it. I could be wrong, but from what I've read, making this kind of money off of views is hard.

Found nothing useful in here. One of my friend also monetize youtube videos. earns about 3000$ per month and he has said that he have some tricks to attract more views instantly. may be tricky tags, titles, gain momentum from paid views or something else. never said to me.

Nobody talk about making money from youtube views. At least, you have to make money from a PPC system. But for adsense and most of youtube partners you can calculate an average income per x ammount of views, is just a calc people use to do, actually you can get an idea of how much money you can earn based on your total monetizable video views.
