Flippa Alternatives

hard ..but not impossible .. there have many website like flippa ( Ebay, websitebroker, or buysellwebsite. ) .. but flippa have more traffic

Are there any alternatives to Flippa in terms of how to get your website sold or buy one? Sure! There are forums, there are brokers, there are some creative ways of selling. But no, there are no other active website marketplaces that would come even close to Flippa.

As for clones - there's about a few hundred out there and it takes around an hour to set one up. But getting the traffic (both buyer and seller traffic) necessary to get it off the ground is a whole different story and so far none of the hundreds who have tried have succeeded.

Ya I've attempted to put together as website marketplace and failed miserably, then again I wasn't patient enough. It can be done though.

i wonder why google not doing this business ... they can beat flippa within no time :)

It's got far more to do with a proper business plan, a well thought-out USP and a sizeable marketing budget than with patience I'm afraid.

i too wish there was an alternative to flippa that was as good. $19 to list is too high.

i have a lot of domains i'd like to sell, but I don't want to pay $19 to see if its worth anything.

Flippa is good for high end sites. Unfortunately it's too expensive to list small sites and to sell only domain names.. I wish there's an alternative for selling mns or I may have to create one :D

I feel the same. Flippa listing fees are abnormal. Seriously 19$ for selling a domain???? WTFF.

This brainstorm has more than one persons head spinning with potential ways to innovate and change the industry. With enough man hours and the right marketing abilities it's definitely possible!

domaining.com for domains offer a good solid reliable service

brandbucket.com maybe OK for selling the URL if it has decent upside value

How much is it to list a domain on these sites? I could not find a price. Domaining.com looks good for general domains, brandbucket definitely wants higher quality domains.

edit: for brandbucket.com

BrandBucket adds a consignment fee of up to 30% which covers our marketing costs and allows us to negotiate on your behalf with agencies and bulk buyers.

BrandBucket requires a $10 listing fee for approved names. This is a one-time charge that's good until your name sells.

They say you can submit unlimited domains and they will review and let you know which ones get accepted.

what a jip -- .com domains only, they could have told me that before I bothered registering.

Have no doubt if they accept the $10 bucks listing fee upfront they will list you

so how much is it to list on domaining.com? Can you list a domain there? It looks like they just pull feeds from all the other market places.

You would have to go through all the sites they sell on they are all owned by one holding company and the network hangs out there sucking for buyers and sellers. But I have one account on domaining that allows you access to a number of sites whether that covers the whole network don't know did not check

$19 is old story, now it's $29 for listing and $10 for successful sale.

Unfortunately......flippa comes top of the list for many reasons, the most important you get the most eyes on your site there!
I have tried others and nothing compares to flippa.
