By the way, high ranking authority sites that don't do SEO but rank just cause they're fucking awesome usually have less than 10% exact match anchor text. That's what I'm trying to emulate and so far so good. Sure it takes longer and is hard work, but in the end it's safer and you don't worry about every new update that comes out!

Good thinking. In today SEO it is very good to rank based on authority rather than anchor power. Its very good to cover your SEO with organic anchors, especially manually made.
