GSA Search Engine Ranker - Extremely Powerful Linkbuilding Software (Free 5 Day Trial)

I've got a suggestion. Verified links only check for 5 days right? Correct me if I'm wrong... I notice that a number of article and directly sites take 7-10 days (actually directory links can take months) to publish the article or link. This means that these links never get sent to GSA SEO Indexer and if you then want to build tier 2, these links will never be included in the tier 2 backlinks. Could there be an option to choose how long you want to check for verified links or extend the article sites (not so much web directories because they can take a very long time) just a few days longer?

Maybe a bug, not sure: I got some high pr Wiki Links but instead of posting the long text from the Article Body Field the software uses the "About yourself' short text. Is this supposed to be? I was under the impression that wikis can take the whole article text or?

No verified links don't only check for 5 days ... not sure where you came up with that. If you have a decent amount of links in the submitted column then you can always stop the project > right click > status > active (verify only). This will verify the links you have pending in que.

This is the way it is setup. Sven said the wiki's will stick better this way. I actually prefer to post the article in the wiki myself but he insists that this way is better. Maybe if enough people request to have it changed, he will do it.

S4NTOS: I'm reading through this thread & taking notes. Do u think (since u are more top of this thread then me), it's even worth reading the original locked thread or have most of the key points been reiterated here?

Btw videos were great got a couple of things out of those also.

Sorry, I read somewhere that it only verifies links for a 5 days and then stops. My bad...

I read it in this same thread we're now talking about... - "SER keeps trying to verify submitted links for about 5 days before removing them"

What are the likely causes of failed verifications showing in the GSA activities log?

The only logical answer is that they don't appear on the site that they were posted on! :-) Sometimes it takes a few days for the moderator to accept them (if it all) e.g. blog comments. Once GSA finds them on the site that it's submitted to, then it will say that they are verified.

The reason why i am asking is that i am seeing a lot of verification failed for the projecting (only blog comments) i am test running, though i am not using any captcha and private proxies. So i am thinking may be non use of captcha and private proxies may be accounting for high number of verification failures. Could that be true?

You need to remember that you're auto submitting to blogs. You need to wait until the comment has been moderated. If you're running an auto approve list then that's different. But I'm guessing you're not.

If you're running a good (clean) list of AA blogs then yes, I can understand your problem. But if you just let the program run then it will submit to all blogs that it finds (depending on your keywords). And it that case, it's up to the moderator to approve your comments. If you're lucky you'll get 5%. If you're simply just spamming then yes expect a lower percentage.

This is true. However you can edit the ini files in the engines folder as you wish (one file for each platform), they are plain text, and hold all these details, so you can set the maximum time it checks for however long you like (its in hours). I have changed some myself, but made them shorter as i am building AA lists atm so if it doesnt appear within an hour, i drop it.

It is in fact entirely possible to write your own platforms by copying and editing these files, but this is not yet officially supported and as such no documentation or support is available.

You could probably just stick to this thread and the videos for now. A lot of the old thread was most of us trying to figure things out. I'm sure there is a lot of good information there but some of it has changed/was wrong. I know I've said a few things back in that old thread that are no longer valid or Sven has told me it was wrong so you might want to stick to this updated thread for now.

For those that don't know, for convenience you can also access and edit these files from the 'where to submit' window by double clicking on the platform name, e.g. Article directory pro, article dashboard, etc.

I guess if you make any changes to them they may be overwritten by an update. Can anyone confirm?

Yes they get overwritten. If you make a small change (eg timeouts) just remember it and change your updated files. If you make a big change, save it somewhere so you can reinstal it.If you do that, make sure you check the newly installed ini file for updates though, as he sometimes makes very useful changes

I hope he doesnt. He is correct, and I really hope he doesnt let people convince him to go with the article.

I didn't know this santos. I tought GSA was one license pero PC. So I can added to my other pc? That's great!

You can install it on as many computers as you need but can only run it on 2 PC's at a time. If its run on a 3rd computer it triggers the server to disable the license so make sure its only running on 2 PC's simultaneously to prevent the license from getting automatically banned.

This way you don't have to worry about transferring your license from computer to computer.

This is what Sven (owner/developer) of this software said, "Yes it is only a one PC license. And as long as they use it on two I don't care about it at all. But if people use it on 3, 5, or 11 as seen, I take action. All people that get an email from our license server with this issue used the license on more than two PCs.

So yes internally we handle it as 2 PC licenses for this program."

Be sure and not run it on more then 2 PC's or you will get a warning email.

Have you ever had anyone else builds links to your website? Anyone ever use Scrapebox or any other link building tool? The software will verify your link being on the page even if GSA SER didn't build the link itself. This could have been from a different campaign or other link building tactic in the past.

Mate, that didn't even cross my mind, but you're probably right. This is quite an old site of mine that I have used other services on in the past. I didn't even think it would verify links not submitted by itself but it obviously does. Must just have been a coincidence that it happened to come across it.

@S4nt0s: I think for newbies it's hard to know which field is used for what and where should the links put into. Perhaps an overview about this would be nice. This and grouping of errors would enormous improove choosing the right settings/content.
